About The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Manager to join our team at Sony Music Entertainment China Ltd. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing campaigns to promote our artists, catalogs, and brand initiatives. You will work closely with artists, management teams, and internal departments to craft compelling marketing strategies that resonate with target audiences and enhance brand visibility. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Chinese music market, consumer behavior, and digital marketing channels. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of the entertainment industry, utilizing innovative marketing techniques to elevate our artists and expand our market presence.

The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, preferably within the music, entertainment, or media industry, is required. Strong knowledge of digital marketing platforms, social media strategies, and content creation is essential. Excellent communication, project management, and analytical skills are also necessary to succeed in this role. Familiarity with the Chinese music industry landscape and fluency in Mandarin and English are highly preferred. Candidates should demonstrate a proven track record of managing successful marketing campaigns and working collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to promote artists, albums, and brand initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Coordinate with artists, management, and creative teams to create engaging content and promotional materials.
  • Manage digital marketing campaigns across various platforms, including social media, streaming services, and online advertising, to maximize reach and engagement.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Organize and oversee promotional events, press releases, and media appearances to enhance artist visibility.
  • Collaborate with external partners, agencies, and media outlets to expand promotional efforts.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of market trends, consumer preferences, and emerging digital marketing tools to keep campaigns innovative and effective.
  • Ensure all marketing activities comply with legal and brand guidelines while maintaining a consistent brand voice and image.
