About Columbia Records
Columbia Records is a premier frontline label of Sony Music Entertainment. Its roster features some of the most famous names in music history including Bob Dylan, Foo Fighters, and Bruce Springsteen, alongside some of the finest cutting-edge artists in the world today such as Calvin Harris, Rosalia, and Central Cee. Founded in 1887, Columbia is the oldest surviving brand name in pre-recorded sound and home to an array of notable singers, instrumentalists, and groups. From 1961 to 1990, its recordings were released outside the U.S. and Canada on the CBS Records label before adopting the Columbia name in most of the world.
About the Digital Department
The Digital department is an exciting, fast-paced, forward-thinking, front-line department. We are responsible for managing strategy for artists across social, content, and online platforms. It’s a busy department, but a very rewarding one, at the centre of every artist campaign – from when they are first signed, to when they are headlining their first arena! We are a close-knit group and work brilliantly as a team, helping each other to achieve our goals and being there to support each other as much as possible.
Role Overview
As an Intern, you will provide effective, consistent, and confidential administrative support to the label’s digital and marketing team – incorporating all elements of a campaign from content, social, advertising, website support, CRM, and more. You will act as the main office-based point of contact and represent the team impeccably, keeping up to date with campaigns and information needed to communicate effectively on behalf of the team.
Ways of Working
- Office attendance: Monday to Thursday
- Flexibility: Friday is flexible depending on preference and workload
- Offsite working: Events and shows can take place any day of the week with occasional late nights, where the digital intern will be shooting mobile content from time to time

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
