About The Role
The Borgen Project is seeking a dedicated and proactive Advocacy Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing advocacy strategies aimed at influencing policy decisions related to global poverty alleviation. You will serve as a key liaison between the organization, policymakers, and community stakeholders, ensuring that our advocacy efforts are effective and aligned with our mission. The ideal candidate will have a passion for social justice, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact on global poverty issues while working in a collaborative and mission-driven environment.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in Political Science, Public Policy, International Relations, or a related field.
- Prior experience in advocacy, policy analysis, or nonprofit work is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
- The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the capacity to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Familiarity with legislative processes and experience in grassroots mobilization will be considered an advantage.
- A passion for social justice and a commitment to the mission of The Borgen Project are fundamental requirements.

Responsibilities
- The Advocacy Coordinator will be responsible for developing and executing advocacy campaigns that support the organization’s goals.
