About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Marketing Manager to join our team at Sony Music Entertainment China Ltd. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing innovative marketing strategies to promote our artists and their music. You will work closely with artists, creative teams, and external partners to enhance brand visibility and engagement across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital marketing, brand management, and the music industry, with a passion for driving growth and creating impactful campaigns. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of the evolving music landscape in China, contributing to the success of renowned artists and the company's overall vision.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in digital marketing, brand management, or entertainment marketing is required, preferably within the music or media industry. Strong knowledge of the Chinese digital ecosystem, social media platforms, and influencer marketing is essential. Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. Fluency in Mandarin and English is required. A proven track record of developing successful marketing campaigns and managing multiple projects simultaneously is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to promote Sony Music artists and their releases, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives.
  • Manage digital marketing campaigns across social media channels, streaming platforms, and online communities to maximize reach and engagement.
  • Collaborate with creative teams to produce compelling content, including videos, graphics, and promotional materials.
  • Coordinate with media partners, sponsors, and external agencies to secure promotional opportunities and sponsorships.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Organize and oversee promotional events, artist appearances, and media interviews to enhance brand visibility.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.
  • Support the development of artist branding and positioning to foster long-term growth and success.
