Role Overview

Here at Sony Music Entertainment, we are shaping what’s next in a way that creates impact. Forging powerful new ideas at the heart of music, technology, and culture that entertain and move people. This is your opportunity. Part of a global community, united by individual passion, rising to that challenge every day. Adapting at pace and supporting one another, inspired to influence the future. For the benefit of you, our people; our creators, our business, and wider society too. This is your chance to shape your impact on Sony Music and beyond.

A global dance music powerhouse, Ministry of Sound Records has spent over three decades shaping modern electronic music by launching icons, breaking new talent, and redefining the genre.

Home to a diverse and acclaimed roster, Ministry of Sound represents BRIT-nominated and Ivor Novello Award-winning group London Grammar, whose albums have sold over three million copies worldwide; dance music pioneer Pete Tong MBE; and rising star Jayda G. Beyond its roots in dance music, Ministry of Sound is also the UK home for global superstars like Tate McRae, Doja Cat and breakthrough artist Malcolm Todd.

Each member of the Ministry team’s contribution is valuable, and all opinions are respected, no matter your role. As an intern, it’s not just about handling the admin and assisting the team – you’ll have the opportunity to add your ideas to artists’ social and digital campaigns and bring them to life. Your opinions on content, social media, virality, fan engagement, advertisement, innovation, new platforms are very much encouraged.

As a smaller label, we work closely together, across digital, marketing, A&R, and other central teams throughout Sony Music UK. It gives you the chance to learn the ins and outs of digital marketing within a label, plus gain deep insight into all corners of a major label group, building a wide foundation for your career in music.

Ways of Working

  • Office attendance: Monday & Tuesday with a third day in on either Wednesday or Thursday
  • Flexibility: Minimum 3 days in the office
  • Offsite working: offsite shoots and shows are regular occurrences where the digital intern collects content from artists and delivers edited assets for social media

  • Responsible for ensuring best practices are followed across digital platforms, socials, and DSPs for releases
  • Contributing ideas and suggestions and vocalising your knowledge in team and label meetings

  • Assist the social media and Digital Marketing Managers in coordinating all artists’ promotional and marketing activity, including but not limited to asset creation and delivery, weekly reporting, and general housekeeping of artist channels
  • Involvement in day-to-day management of artists' social media accounts
  • Assist in digital advertising operations and managing budgets
  • Raise POs and maintain campaign budgets for digital marketing spends
  • Be proficient with analytics tools (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Spotify, Apple, Amazon, and Google) and maintain weekly reports
  • Present metrics of all social and CRM activity in digital and label meetings, as well as help build reports to share with wider teams
  • Build streaming reports containing data insights and marketing updates

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
