Digital Marketing Intern Opportunity

Role Overview

We are hiring for one of our clients for a Digital Marketing Intern who is eager to gain practical exposure to digital marketing, content strategy, social media, SEO, analytics, and online brand development. The ideal candidate will be creative, curious, detail-oriented, and interested in understanding how digital strategies contribute to business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns across relevant online channels.
  • Assist with social media content planning, scheduling, publishing, and audience engagement.
  • Conduct keyword, competitor, audience, and market research to identify marketing opportunities.
  • Assist in developing engaging content for websites, blogs, social media, email campaigns, and other digital channels.
  • Support SEO activities including keyword research, on-page optimization, content optimization, and basic performance monitoring.
  • Assist with website content updates and identify opportunities to improve user engagement.
  • Monitor digital campaign performance and help prepare regular marketing reports.
  • Assist in tracking website traffic, engagement, conversions, and other relevant marketing metrics.
  • Support email marketing activities, including campaign preparation, content development, and performance tracking.
  • Contribute ideas for creative campaigns, promotional activities, and brand awareness initiatives.
  • Assist with paid advertising activities across relevant platforms under team guidance.
  • Research emerging digital marketing trends, tools, platforms, and audience behaviors.
  • Help maintain content calendars and ensure marketing activities are organized and aligned with campaign objectives.
  • Collaborate with content, design, and marketing team members on digital initiatives.
  • Support A/B testing and other campaign optimization activities where required.
  • Maintain accurate records of campaign activities, content, performance data, and marketing resources.

Core Requirements

  • Basic understanding of digital marketing principles and online customer engagement.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital content creation.
  • Understanding of SEO, content marketing, email marketing, or paid advertising is an advantage.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative approach to content development and digital communication.
  • Interest in understanding customer behavior and digital audience trends.
  • Basic knowledge of digital analytics and performance metrics.
  • Strong research and information-gathering abilities.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to identify trends and convert research findings into practical marketing ideas.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organizational and task-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple marketing activities and priorities effectively.
  • Comfortable working independently as well as collaborating with a remote team.
  • Willingness to learn new marketing platforms, technologies, and industry practices.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, or similar analytics platforms.
  • Exposure to SEO and keyword research tools.
  • Basic understanding of Google Ads or social media advertising platforms.
  • Experience with content management systems such as WordPress is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with Canva or other content creation tools.
  • Basic knowledge of email marketing platforms.
  • Understanding of digital marketing KPIs such as traffic, engagement, CTR, conversions, and ROI.
  • Any academic, personal, or portfolio project related to digital marketing is an advantage.
