Croda Digital Marketing Lead

As we deliver our ambitious 2030 Growth Strategy, we’re looking for a Digital Marketing Lead to join our global marketing team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
We are looking for someone with a strong technical digital marketing background, excellent attention to detail and a passion for translating complex technical content into engaging digital content. You'll be comfortable using customer insight, analytics and testing to identify opportunities to optimise digital performance.
Who We’re Looking For
You'll enjoy balancing technical problem solving with commercial thinking and be motivated by continually improving the digital customer experience.
You Will Have Experience In
- Enterprise CMS platforms (ideally Sitecore).
- Email marketing platforms (preferably Mailchimp).
- Google Analytics 4 (GA4), SEO, SEMrush and digital analytics.
- UTM tracking, campaign measurement and performance reporting.
- Website optimisation, UX/UI and digital content management.
- Webinar platforms such as ON24.
- Turning data into actionable insights that support marketing decisions.
You Will Also Be
- Highly organised, with strong project management and prioritisation skills.
- Analytical and confident using data to identify opportunities for improvement.
- A strong communicator, able to translate technical information into engaging digital content.
- Comfortable managing projects from concept through to delivery.
- Confident working with stakeholders, agencies and development partners.
- Curious, proactive and keen to explore new digital technologies and ways of working.
- A degree in Marketing (or a related discipline), or equivalent industry experience, is required.

Desirable Skills
Experience with any of the following would be advantageous:
- Qlik Sense
- Microsoft Clarity
- HTML/CSS
- Figma
- Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Premiere Pro
- SharePoint
- Experience working in an agile development environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own and develop the Croda Beauty website using Sitecore CMS, ensuring it delivers an excellent user experience and supports business objectives.
- Publish and optimise website content, landing pages, blogs and digital customer journeys.
- Deliver ongoing SEO improvements across on-page, technical and AI search (GEO/AEO), including keyword research, structured data and content optimisation.
- Monitor website quality, accessibility and performance, including Core Web Vitals where appropriate.
- Build, test and optimise email campaigns and automation programmes using Mailchimp.
- Manage webinars using ON24 or similar platforms, including setup, delivery and reporting.
- Monitor digital performance using GA4, SEMrush and reporting tools, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
- Create campaign tracking and reporting using UTM parameters, ensuring accurate measurement and attribution.
- Support A/B testing and conversion rate optimisation initiatives to improve digital performance.
- Partner with internal stakeholders, agencies and developers to deliver digital improvements and platform enhancements.
- Act as the platform owner for assigned digital marketing technologies, driving continual improvement, governance, best practice and adoption across the business.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation, evolving best practice and new digital technologies.
- Support global marketing campaigns by delivering digital experiences that generate engagement, leads and measurable business value.
