About Arena.online, Arena Flowers💐and Patch Plants 🌱
arena.online is a young digital business specialising in the delivery of flowers, plants and gifts. Its consumer division includes Arena Flowers and Patch, and — alongside other brands in development — is focused on building best-in-class modern consumer brands, with a team to match that ambition. This team's work is a key strand of the wider business strategy, backed by real resources and great people.
Founded in 2006, Arena Flowers is the UK's most ethical florist, and today, the UK's #1 rated ethical flower company on Trustpilot, with over 22,000 verified reviews and 4.6/5 rating. The brand has never used fossil-based single-use plastics in its packaging since 2017, pioneered the flower industry's first closed-loop waste system, and has planted over 1 million trees. It has held the top ranking on the Good Shopping Guide's Ethical Company Index for fifteen years running, scoring 100/100 since 2018.
Patch is a modern plant shop, for modern plant people. Founded in 2016, Patch helps people discover the best plants for their space, delivers them to their door, and helps them keep them alive — sourcing directly from over 100 top-rated growers. Patch has attracted over 800k customers and has twice been named the best plant delivery service by Good Housekeeping. The brand also boasts a market leading trustpilot rating of 4.7.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
