Why Receptional and Why This Role

We're the team iGaming operators turn to when growth matters most — and we're growing fast ourselves. At Receptional, you'll find colleagues who are bright, ambitious, and genuinely supportive. Specialists who do their best work together, sharing ideas, moving fast, and holding themselves to a high bar.

Whether you're starting out or stepping up, you'll get genuine investment in your development through our internal academy, real variety in your work, and a direct impact on some of the biggest names in the industry. Competitive benefits, flexible working, and a team that has your back.

We were named Marketing Services Supplier of the Year at the EGR B2B Awards 2026, and Best Medium Agency to Work For at the Company Culture Awards 2025 — recognition for the work we do and the place we've built to do it.

Link-building in iGaming is a specialist discipline — and this role is where you learn it properly.

As a Digital Marketing Link-Building Outreach Executive at Receptional you'll be contributing to live client campaigns from day one, working under the guidance of a Senior Outreach Specialist on some of the biggest names in sports betting and casino. You'll be building prospect lists, sending outreach, supporting content production, and developing your understanding of the iGaming sector — including the regulatory environment that shapes how we work on behalf of clients. It's an entry-level role with real structure, genuine investment in your development, and a clear path upward for the right person.

What You'll Be Doing

This is an entry-level outreach role where you'll be getting stuck into live client campaigns from day one. You'll be working under the guidance of a Senior Outreach Specialist, building the foundational skills of link acquisition, publisher research, and outreach communication in a fast-paced iGaming agency environment. The work is detail-oriented and data-driven — and you'll be expected to take ownership of your own development alongside your day-to-day responsibilities.

In Practice, That Looks Like

  • Researching and building targeted prospect lists of relevant publications and websites aligned with iGaming client needs
  • Sending outreach emails and follow-ups to publishers and webmasters to secure link placements
  • Maintaining accurate records of outreach activity, placements, and prospect status in BuzzStream or equivalent tools
  • Assisting in developing outreach campaign materials — email templates and pitch content
  • Supporting content briefs and short-form content pieces that help secure link placements for clients
  • Ensuring content meets publisher editorial standards before submission
  • Developing your awareness of iGaming advertising regulations — age restrictions, responsible gambling messaging, and geo-targeting requirements
  • Supporting account leads with client reporting, data gathering, and campaign updates
  • Beginning to use AI tools to support outreach and content tasks under the guidance of your line manager
  • Contributing to agency marketing activities — team brainstorms, newsletters, and blog posts

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What We're Looking For

You don't need years of experience — this is an entry-level role and we'll teach you the craft. What you do need is strong written communication, genuine curiosity about digital marketing and the iGaming sector, and the kind of self-motivated approach that doesn't wait to be told what to do next. The work is detail-oriented and deadline-driven, so organisation and attention to detail matter as much as creativity here.

Essential

  • Strong written communication skills — you craft clear, engaging messages that get responses
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills — nothing slips through the cracks on your watch
  • Comfortable working with data, spreadsheets, and tracking tools
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage your own workload and meet deadlines consistently
  • A genuine interest in iGaming, digital marketing, or SEO — curiosity about the sector goes a long way here
  • Comfortable using AI tools to support outreach and content tasks

Desirable

  • Some exposure to SEO, link-building, or digital PR — internships, personal projects, or academic work all count
  • Basic awareness of the iGaming industry and its regulatory landscape
  • Familiarity with tools such as BuzzStream or Ahrefs
  • A degree in Marketing, Journalism, English, or a related discipline — or equivalent experience
