Overview
27Works is looking for a commercially minded Digital Marketing Manager to lead the day-to-day delivery of digital marketing programmes for a portfolio of mostly automotive premium and luxury clients. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, ensuring every piece of content, campaign and customer interaction supports measurable business objectives.
The ideal candidate lives and breathes social media, understands how digital communities behave, spots trends before they become mainstream, and knows how to translate audience insight into engaging campaigns. They will also be an excellent client manager, capable of building trusted relationships while coordinating internal teams to deliver exceptional work.
Experience within the automotive, luxury or premium consumer sectors would be highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
Client & Account Management
- Act as the day-to-day strategic contact for a portfolio of client accounts.
- Build trusted relationships with marketing teams and senior stakeholders.
- Lead regular client meetings, reporting and campaign reviews.
- Understand each client's commercial objectives and ensure marketing activity supports them.
- Identify opportunities to grow client relationships and expand services.
Social Media Strategy & Delivery
- Develop and manage social media strategies across multiple platforms.
- Create and oversee content calendars aligned with business objectives.
- Ensure content reflects each client's tone of voice and brand positioning.
- Stay ahead of platform updates, emerging formats and social media trends.
- Identify reactive opportunities that allow clients to participate in relevant conversations.
- Monitor competitor activity and recommend new approaches.

Community / Audience Management
- Oversee online community and audience growth across social platforms.
- Develop engagement strategies that encourage meaningful conversations.
- Respond appropriately to customer comments and enquiries.
- Escalate issues where required and work with clients to resolve customer concerns.
- Identify recurring themes and feed customer insight back into marketing strategy.
Customer Journey & Digital Experience
- Understand how customers move from awareness through to consideration, conversion and advocacy.
- Work with clients to improve digital customer journeys across social media, websites, email and CRM.
- Ensure campaigns connect effectively across multiple digital touchpoints.
- Use audience insight and behavioural data to improve engagement and conversion.
Campaign Management
- Coordinate integrated digital campaigns from planning through delivery.
- Brief designers, copywriters, photographers and developers.
- Ensure campaigns are delivered on time, on budget and to a high creative standard.
- Manage paid and organic social campaigns where appropriate.
Analytics & Performance
- Monitor and assess campaign performance.
- Provide input for insightful monthly reports focused on outcomes rather than vanity metrics.
- Make recommendations based on data and customer behaviour.
- Track KPIs including engagement, reach, website traffic, leads and conversion.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- 3 to 5+ years' experience in digital marketing, social media or account management.
- Strong understanding of major social platforms including Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube.
- Excellent knowledge of current digital marketing trends and emerging platforms.
- Experience managing multiple client accounts simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of customer journeys and digital marketing funnels.
- Excellent written communication and copywriting skills.
- Highly organised with strong project management abilities.
- Confident in presenting ideas and recommendations to clients.
- Comfortable interpreting analytics and translating data into actions.

Desirable
- Experience within the automotive, luxury, lifestyle or premium consumer sectors.
- Experience managing paid social campaigns.
- Knowledge of CRM and email marketing platforms.
- Familiarity with GA4, Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Campaign Manager and social scheduling tools.
- Understanding of SEO and website content management.
- Experience working within an agency or content team environment.

- Salary scale: £42-£47k depending on experience.
- 27Works operates an unlimited holiday policy. Details on request.
- The role is based at Bicester Motion – the heart of UK car culture – with an expectation to be office based. Occasional hybrid working permitted.
