Role Purpose

We are seeking a creative, commercially minded and data-driven Digital Marketing Manager to lead the company's digital marketing activity and support continued growth across domestic and international markets.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering digital campaigns across website, search, email, social media, content and online advertising channels. They will manage the company's digital presence, generate high-quality leads, support product launches and work closely with Sales, Operations, Quality and Regulatory teams to ensure all content is accurate, compliant and aligned with the brand.

The role is suited to an experienced digital marketer with a background in medical devices, medical aesthetics, beauty, healthcare, technology or another technical and regulated sector.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Strategy & Campaign Management

  • Implement the company's digital marketing strategy in line with commercial objectives.
  • Plan and manage integrated digital campaigns to increase brand awareness, website traffic, lead generation and sales.
  • Manage the company's digital marketing budget and monitor expenditure against agreed plans.
  • Maintain the company's marketing calendar, campaign plans, content schedules and digital asset library.
  • Monitor campaign performance and provide regular reports on key metrics, return on investment and recommended improvements.
  • Use data and customer insight to improve audience targeting, engagement, conversion and retention.
  • Manage external agencies for social advertising & website development.
  • Research competitor activity, market trends, customer behaviour and emerging digital marketing opportunities.

Website & SEO Management

  • Manage and continuously improve the company website, including product pages, landing pages, technical content, SEO and conversion performance.
  • Manage search engine optimisation activity, including keyword research, on-page optimisation, technical improvements and content planning.
  • Ensure website content is accurate, up-to-date and aligned with product information, treatment protocols and brand guidelines.

Content Creation & Management

  • Plan, create and distribute engaging content, including website copy, email campaigns, blogs, case studies, brochures, videos and social media posts.
  • Create marketing materials that clearly communicate product features, benefits, applications and differentiators.
  • Support product launches, exhibitions, webinars, educational events and promotional campaigns.
  • Coordinate with external agencies, freelancers, photographers, videographers and other marketing suppliers where required.
  • Support the development of distributor and partner marketing materials.

Paid & Organic Social Media

  • Develop and manage organic and paid social media activity across relevant platforms.
  • Manage social media platforms and develop engaging content for different audiences, including clinics, therapists, distributors and end consumers.
  • Plan, launch and optimise paid digital advertising campaigns, including Google Ads, social media advertising and retargeting activity.

Email Marketing & Automation

  • Manage email marketing campaigns, customer communications, newsletters and automated workflows.
  • Segment audiences and develop targeted campaigns for customers, distributors, clinics, practitioners and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Use marketing automation platforms to nurture leads, support customer onboarding and drive repeat engagement.

International & Market-Specific Activity

  • Work with the International Sales Manager and wider commercial team to develop market-specific campaigns and lead-generation activity.
  • Support international campaigns and multilingual content where required.
  • Ensure all digital content and campaigns follow approved brand guidelines and company communication standards.

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure product claims, technical information, clinical references and promotional content are reviewed and approved in accordance with company procedures.
  • Maintain appropriate records of marketing approvals, campaign assets and relevant compliance documentation.
  • Ensure all digital content and campaigns comply with UK and international digital advertising, privacy and marketing requirements.
  • Work with Quality and Regulatory colleagues to ensure marketing activities support the company's quality management system.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Sales, Operations, Quality and Regulatory teams to ensure all content is accurate, compliant and aligned with the brand.
  • Contribute to the wider marketing strategy and assist with other commercial projects as required.

Key Performance Indicators

Performance will be measured against agreed objectives, which may include:

  • Qualified leads generated through digital channels.
  • Website traffic, engagement and conversion rates.
  • Organic search rankings and non-paid website traffic.
  • Paid advertising performance, including cost per lead and return on investment.
  • Email open rates, click-through rates and conversion performance.
  • Social media reach, engagement and audience growth.
  • Campaign delivery against agreed timescales and budgets.
  • Product launch and promotional campaign performance.
  • Marketing-attributed sales and pipeline value.

Person Specification

Essential Experience and Skills

  • Proven experience in a digital marketing, online marketing or similar role.
  • Demonstrable experience developing and delivering successful digital marketing campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of SEO, PPC, email marketing, social media and website management.
  • Experience using website content management systems such as WordPress, Shopify or equivalent.
  • Experience using digital analytics and reporting tools, such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
  • Strong copywriting and content creation skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience managing social media platforms and developing engaging content for different audiences.
  • Commercial awareness and an understanding of how digital marketing supports lead generation and sales.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience within medical aesthetics, medical devices, healthcare & beauty.
  • Experience working within a regulated industry or quality management system.
  • Familiarity with ISO 13485 or controlled content-approval processes.
  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM platforms.
  • Experience using Mailchimp, or comparable platforms.
  • Experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud or similar design tools.
  • Experience producing video, photography or educational content.
  • Experience managing international campaigns and multilingual content.
