Your Opportunity
The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for executing the digital marketing workstream within BKL’s wider marketing strategy. The role will manage the day-to-day delivery and continuous improvement of BKL’s website, social media, digital content, marketing automation, lead management and performance reporting.
Working closely with the Director of Marketing & Communications, Marketing Managers, campaign leads, the Digital team, client-facing partners and external suppliers, the role will translate agreed priorities into coordinated, high-quality digital activity that supports BKL’s brand, growth initiatives and client experience.
This is a delivery focused role with clear ownership of digital channels and processes.
How You’ll Make a Difference
In this role, you will:
Digital marketing execution
- Manage the execution of the digital marketing workstream within BKL’s wider marketing strategy, translating agreed priorities into clear delivery plans.
- Maintain a fully coordinated digital marketing calendar aligned with campaigns, business milestones, events and growth initiatives.
- Coordinate delivery across web, social media, email and other digital channels, ensuring activity is timely, consistent and aligned with agreed objectives.
- Monitor channel performance and recommend practical improvements to the Director of Marketing & Communications.
Website and digital experience
- Manage the ongoing improvement of the BKL website in partnership with web development partner.
- Coordinate website content, functionality and technical enhancements to provide a high-quality front end for the business.
- Manage practical SEO improvement across the website, including keyword-led content planning, metadata, page structure, internal linking, technical hygiene and coordination with external specialists, with a focus on improving discoverability, relevant traffic and inbound enquiry quality.
- Use analytics, testing and user insight to identify and implement improvements to website experience and conversion.
- Implement BKL’s new brand identity consistently across the website and other digital touchpoints.
Social media and partner support
- Manage BKL’s social media approach and publishing calendar within the wider marketing plan.
- Provide practical guidance, content support and channel insight to improve the quality and consistency of partner activity.
- Monitor social performance and use insight to refine the approach.
Campaign and content delivery
- Work in partnership with Marketing Managers and campaign leads to own the critical social and web content approach supporting BKL’s growth initiatives.
- Turn agreed campaign plans into coordinated digital journeys across web, social media and email.
- Coordinate publishing schedules, content requirements, calls to action and digital promotion.
- Build SEO into campaign and content briefs so priority pages, insight articles and digital journeys are structured around relevant client search intent as well as BKL’s brand and commercial messaging.
- Ensure content is accurate, on-brand, audience-focused and delivered to agreed timescales.

AI-enabled digital marketing
- Use and self-create AI-enabled digital marketing methods to improve content quality, generate insight and multiply the impact of digital activity.
- Apply AI to research, drafting, optimisation, reporting and workflow efficiency within BKL’s data governance and confidentiality requirements.
- Keep abreast of relevant developments and recommend proportionate improvements to tools and processes.
HubSpot and marketing operations
- Operate and continuously improve the HubSpot marketing platform to support client experience, events, external communications, inbound leads and marketing automation.
- Maintain appropriate segmentation, workflows, templates, data standards and reporting within HubSpot.
- Work with the Digital team to support effective integration between HubSpot and BKL’s CRM platform.
- Identify and resolve operational issues, escalating platform, data or integration decisions where required.
- Build and send customer experience surveys at appropriate points in the client journey, collating feedback and providing partners with clear, practical insight to support service improvement and relationship management.
Lead management
- Oversee the lead management process from website enquiry through to activation by the appropriate partner or team.
- Maintain clear processes for lead capture, initial qualification, routing, follow-up and status tracking.
- Monitor response times, progression and conversion, working with stakeholders to address gaps in follow-up.
- Provide clear reporting and insight on inbound lead performance.
Performance and ROI
- Build and maintain a KPI dashboard showing the impact and return on investment of digital marketing initiatives.
- Report on website, social, email, campaign and lead performance using agreed definitions and measures.
- Provide practical insight on what is working, what requires improvement and where activity should be adjusted.
- Support the Director of Marketing & Communications with evidence for prioritisation and investment decisions.
Projects and supplier management
- Manage day-to-day relationships and delivery with relevant digital agencies, suppliers and freelancers, including Hype.
- Own special and strategic projects as required, within an agreed brief, scope, budget and governance framework.
- Work collaboratively across Marketing, Digital, Business Development and the wider business to deliver agreed outcomes.
You’ll Be Ideal for This Role If You Have:
Essential
- Proven experience in a digital marketing manager, with hands-on responsibility for delivery across multiple channels.
- Experience building, managing and improving websites, including practical SEO, content performance, user experience, conversion and coordination with specialist agencies or developers.
- Strong working knowledge of social media, digital content and campaign delivery.
- Practical experience of HubSpot or a comparable marketing automation platform, including workflows, segmentation, email and reporting.
- Confident and proven use of AI tools and building agents to improve marketing quality, insight and productivity.
- Ability to interpret performance data, build clear reporting and make evidence-based recommendations.
- Experience managing external agencies or technology partners.
- Strong stakeholder management and coaching skills, with the confidence to work effectively with senior client-facing professionals.
- Highly organised, able to coordinate multiple priorities and maintain an integrated delivery calendar.

- Experience in professional services, financial services or another expertise-led environment.
- Knowledge of CRM integration, digital lead management and marketing attribution.
- Familiarity with Generative Engine Optimisation and emerging approaches to LLM discoverability.
- Experience supporting the implementation of a new or refreshed brand identity.
- Experience using Power BI or another dashboard and visualisation tool.
