Digital Marketing Manager
Role Purpose
- To help develop and manage the digital Marketing strategy for the group.
- To support the Marketing team and develop their digital understanding and maximise local performance.
- To provide a senior point of digital contact with the brands manufacturers and Pentagon group/Motus group.
- Ensure the group position on all digital Marketing activities is adhered to and supported.
- Support the Brand Directors/General Managers (dealerships) with a structured and pro-active digital marketing service.
- Be the digital expert for the group and support the Marketing Director.
- Bring digital innovation to the department.
- Help further commercialise the group's offering, digitally.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Developing and executing brand specific digital Marketing strategies that complement the national activity and drive local performance.
- Management of PPC and SEO activity schedules.
- Development of group websites and maintenance.
- Social media strategy and implementation.
- Identification of alternative digital channels for Marketing opportunity.
- Management of all digital reporting.
- Management of all group digital feeds and tracking.
- Management of identified group agencies that support the digital offering.
- Being the key point of digital contact from both an internal and external perspective for all digital marketing activities.
- Understand, coach and inspire internal team members so they develop their knowledge and skills from a digital perspective.
- Development of internal and external presentations that support Pentagon and Motus group.
- Managing the digital sales funnel, providing stakeholders with clear insight into both successes and opportunities.
- Liaison with the Manufacturers to ensure that all Marketing KPI’s are achieved.
- Financial understanding of budgets, to ensure correct coding and forecasting whilst minimizing ineffectual spend.
- Agency Management of group identified suppliers.
- Working closely with the Group Support functions to ensure the group plan is delivered.
- Responsibility for OEM website/digital audits.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience
- Educated to a graduate level with a preference for recognised Digital/Marketing qualification.
- A minimum of 5 years Digital Marketing/E-commerce related experience is desired.
- Demonstrable experience of working in key advertising/Marketing disciplines.
- Proven ability to work with data tools and reporting software, including Excel.
- Experience of Marketing automation tools such as hubspot/Salesforce.
- Ability to present at multiple levels ensuring support and buy-in of strategies.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Previous demonstrable management of teams would be desirable.
- Good budgetary management and analysis.
- Excellent analytical skills that support process development and Marketing ROI.
- Passion for both digital systems and the automotive industry, including knowledge of how the automotive industry works.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage suppliers ensuring a partnership is achieved that is mutually beneficial.
- Automotive experience is desirable but not essential.
