Digital Marketing Manager (Lead Generation Focus)
Location: Remote with occasional travel to London (a couple of days per month)
Team: Works alongside content writer and developers (no line management)
About the Role:
An established, award-winning Commercial Finance Brokerage is seeking a proven Digital Marketing Manager to take ownership of high-volume digital lead generation across multiple verticals. This is a highly commercial and autonomous role which requires someone who is analytical, proactive, and confident managing PPC budgets and complex data journeys.
As part of the small marketing team, you'll be the driving force behind digital acquisition, responsible for generating hundreds of qualified leads each month through paid channels, SEO oversight, CRM optimisation, database marketing, and continuous performance improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
PPC & Paid Media (Core Focus)
- Own and optimise high-budget PPC campaigns (c. £100k per month).
- Drive high-volume lead generation across multiple verticals.
- Manage Google Ads end-to-end: strategy, build, optimisation, testing, reporting.
- Deliver consistent, scalable performance from Google-based lead funnels.
- Identify new revenue streams and opportunities within paid channels.
SEO & Organic Growth
- Oversee SEO strategy in partnership with an external agency.
- Ensure alignment between paid and organic acquisition strategies.
- Support content planning to improve rankings and conversion.
Data, CRM & Analytics
- Manage CRM data flows, segmentation, and remarketing journeys.
- Analyse granular performance data to improve conversion and reduce CPA.
- Build and refine automated journeys to maximise lead quality and ROI.
- Report on channel performance, trends, and optimisation opportunities.

Strategy & Innovation
- Proactively identify new digital opportunities and revenue streams.
- Continuously test, iterate, and improve lead generation funnels.
- Bring creativity and fresh thinking to a high-growth environment.
Experience Required:
- Background in high-volume, performance-driven digital marketing.
- Proven track record generating hundreds of leads per month in a digital lead-gen environment.
- Deep expertise in PPC, particularly Google Ads.
- Strong analytical capability and confidence working with granular data.
- Proactive, creative, commercially minded.
