Digital Marketing Manager
Steadman Brown and Steadman Hub are two market-leading specialist recruitment businesses, focused exclusively on the Salesforce and HubSpot technology markets. We’re recognised leaders within our respective ecosystems, trusted by leading businesses and consulting partners to help build their specialist technology teams.
We're looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to take ownership of our marketing across both brands.
This is a hands-on role with significant autonomy. You won't be joining a large marketing department or managing agencies all day — you'll be the person developing ideas, creating the content, executing campaigns and continually improving how we go to market. And importantly, this isn't a social-media-focused marketing role.
What You'll Be Doing
Our marketing is focused on creating genuinely useful content and campaigns that build our authority within the markets we serve and ultimately generate commercial opportunities.
You'll take ownership of areas including:
- Content & creative writing – blogs, thought leadership, hiring guides, market insights and long-form content
- SEO & digital visibility – developing content that improves organic search performance and keeps our websites relevant and authoritative
- Research & surveys – creating industry surveys, analysing the results and turning them into market reports and campaigns
- Campaigns – planning and executing campaigns from initial idea through to distribution, lead capture, follow-up and measuring results
- Customer stories – turning successful client work into compelling case studies and customer success content
- Proposals & presentations – creating high-quality, tailored commercial documents that help us win new business
- Email marketing – newsletters, targeted campaigns and downloadable-content journeys
- Websites – owning content, working within our CMS and coordinating improvements with our web partner
- Events – supporting major industry events and building campaigns around them
- Marketing systems & AI – using our CRM, marketing tools, data, AI and automation to make our marketing smarter and more efficient

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

See breakdownIt searches the market for you
Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.
Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
There will also be some involvement in wider business operations, particularly around systems, suppliers, projects and supporting the leadership team, but marketing is very much the core of this role.
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for someone with 3+ years' B2B marketing experience who is comfortable taking genuine ownership. You'll ideally have:
- Excellent creative writing and content skills
- Strong SEO knowledge
- Experience planning and delivering campaigns end-to-end
- Experience creating substantial content such as guides, reports, research or case studies
- Confidence creating professional proposals and presentations
- Experience with websites/CMS, email marketing and CRM systems
- A commercial mindset — understanding that great marketing ultimately needs to support business growth
- An interest in AI and how it can improve marketing

We're particularly interested in people who have worked as a standalone marketer, within a small marketing team or in an SME, where you've needed to be both strategic and hands-on. You don't need previous Salesforce, HubSpot or recruitment experience. We'll teach you our markets.
Why Join Us?
You'll inherit two established specialist brands but have plenty of freedom to shape how we market them. You'll work directly with the Managing Director, have access to a huge amount of market knowledge and customer success to turn into content, and have the autonomy to test new ideas rather than working within a large corporate marketing structure. As the wider group grows, there will also be opportunities to expand your remit across additional businesses, build out the marketing function and ultimately develop a team around you.
