Digital Marketing Manager
Remote | Full-time | Permanent
Are you a hands-on digital marketer who enjoys taking ownership, getting stuck into campaigns and seeing the results of your work?
We're working with an established and highly successful specialist technology business with more than 25 years' experience and a strong reputation within the IT sector. With operations across the UK and Europe and a significant portfolio of technology products and services, the business continues to grow and invest in its marketing function.
This is an exciting opportunity for a digital marketing professional to take genuine ownership of digital activity across paid advertising, email marketing, content, social media and the website. The business is looking for someone who can come in, understand what needs to be done and get on with it. You won't need constant direction or handholding. You'll work alongside the Head of Marketing while having plenty of autonomy to develop and execute campaigns.
The Role
As Digital Marketing Manager, you'll be responsible for delivering and developing the company's digital marketing activity across multiple channels.
The two key areas of focus will be Google Ads and email marketing, including the creation and management of automated nurture, win-back and re-engagement journeys. You'll also have the opportunity to contribute across website development, social media, content, digital advertising and wider marketing campaigns.
You'll be involved in:
- Developing and implementing digital marketing campaigns across Google Ads, remarketing, email, social media and other digital channels
- Managing and optimising Google Ads campaigns, including remarketing activity
- Creating and executing email marketing campaigns and BAU communications
- Developing automated email journeys and workflows, including onboarding, lead nurturing, win-back, re-engagement and product-specific campaigns
- Managing audience segmentation and personalised communications
- Creating engaging written content for email, web and wider marketing communications
- Managing and developing the company's LinkedIn presence
- Building and improving landing pages and website content through WordPress and Elementor, or similar platforms
- Supporting SEO and wider website development
- Working closely with Product Managers to develop effective marketing campaigns around products and services
- Taking ownership of marketing activity for specific product areas
- Creating and monitoring Go-to-Market and partner marketing campaigns
- Supporting white-label marketing activity for reseller partners
- Monitoring campaign performance, website traffic, engagement and other key metrics
- Using data and insight to identify opportunities for improvement and growth
- Supporting the continued development of brand awareness and online reputation
- Identifying new digital channels, markets and opportunities for growth
- Producing and editing marketing materials and communications
- Managing multiple campaigns and projects while maintaining ongoing BAU activity

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

About You

- Hands-on Google Ads experience, ideally including remarketing
- Strong email marketing experience
- Experience creating automated email journeys, nurture campaigns and/or win-back programmes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with digital marketing platforms and campaign reporting
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- The ability to manage multiple projects alongside ongoing BAU activity
- A proactive, self-starting approach
- Excellent attention to detail
