The Agency
Creative Triangle is a Leicester-based design agency built around Good Honest Design. Founded in 2006, we work across print, digital, branding, campaigns, accessibility, animation, large format, wayfinding, and internal communications. We’re a small, experienced team with a practical, no-nonsense approach. Our clients range from major organisations and household names to public-sector bodies, charities, and universities, and our work spans websites, social media, reports, campaigns, signage, presentations, and accessible communications.
The Role
We’re looking for a proactive, organised, and digitally confident Digital Marketing & New Business Executive to focus on Creative Triangle’s own marketing and business development activity. This is primarily an in-house agency marketing and new business role rather than a client delivery role. You’ll be helping us promote Creative Triangle, showcase our work, grow our profile, identify and develop new opportunities, and contribute directly to the continued growth of the agency.
You’ll work closely with our Head of Business Development and the wider Creative Triangle team, using the projects, expertise, and knowledge already within the agency to create engaging content, reach new audiences, and develop new business opportunities.
It’s a varied, hands-on role covering our website, social media, newsletters, email marketing, digital campaigns, CRM, research, analytics, AI-assisted workflows, tenders, pitches, and proposals. This would suit someone who enjoys marketing, content, websites, research, and digital tools, but who also has a commercial mindset and an interest in how strong marketing activity can contribute to measurable business growth.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

About You
You’ll be organised, curious, and full of initiative, with strong attention to detail and good written communication skills. You’ll be comfortable working across different tasks and priorities and have a genuine interest in marketing, websites, content, AI, business development, and the creative industry. You’ll also have a level of commercial awareness. You should be interested not just in producing good marketing activity, but in understanding whether it is working, who it is reaching, and how it can help generate opportunities for the business.
You won’t need to be a designer, but you should have a good eye for presentation and understand the importance of strong creative work, accessibility, and consistent branding.
You’ll be someone who is happy to get stuck in. We’re a small team, so this isn’t a role where you’ll only work on one narrow area. You may already be working as a Marketing Assistant, Marketing Coordinator, Business Development Assistant, Digital Marketing Executive, or Marketing Executive, or you may have relevant experience and be looking for a broader role where you can learn, contribute, and grow.
