Job Role

This role is an opportunity to help shape and grow our digital marketing at a pivotal point for the charity. With a refreshed brand, a new organisational strategy and a Brand, Communications and Digital Engagement team that is still evolving, the Digital Marketing Officer will play a hands-on role in bringing our ambition to life across paid social, email, and paid search. You will support the planning, delivery, and optimisation of our digital marketing activity across paid social, email, and paid search, including setting up and managing our Google Ad Grants account, maintaining accurate tracking and reporting in GA4, and turning insights into practical recommendations.

This role suits someone organised, curious, and collaborative. Working closely with the Digital Marketing Manager and colleagues, you will help turn insight, storytelling, and creative ideas into effective digital activity that reaches the right audiences at the right time. From strengthening supporter journeys to improving how families discover and engage with our support, your work will directly contribute to helping us reach more families and serve them better, and it will help drive income growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Digital Marketing Manager to develop Email Strategy, including welcome and retention email series.
  • Build emails in the charity’s email system (Dynamics CE), selecting data, carrying out testing and QA before sending.
  • Set up simple automated journeys and triggered messages.
  • Maintain audience lists, ensuring consent, preferences, and data quality are upheld.
  • Monitor open, click, and conversion rates, identifying and recommending test and learn opportunities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
