Digital Marketing Officer
Introduction
We are looking to appoint a Digital Marketing Officer to join our team here at 21CC Group. This pivotal role will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging social media content, strengthening our online presence, and showcasing the work, people, services and brands across the group.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative, organised and commercially aware social media professional to take on a key role within a growing and forward-thinking technical production and AV business. The successful candidate will have a proactive approach to content creation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to turn projects, events and behind-the-scenes activity into compelling social media content.

Role Overview
The Digital Marketing Officer role sits within our parent company, 21CC Group Ltd, and reports directly to the Sales Director.
The successful candidate will work closely with teams across the wider 21CC Group to plan, create and publish engaging content that supports brand awareness, audience engagement and commercial growth, while also promoting the work of Funktioncreep and Rogue City Productions, two group companies.
You will be responsible for developing content ideas, managing social media channels, planning campaigns, capturing event content and ensuring each brand is represented consistently and creatively across relevant platforms.
The role will involve a combination of content planning, copywriting, video and image creation, community management, campaign delivery, reporting and collaboration with our creative, technical, sales and operational teams to support the continued growth and visibility of the business.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy & Planning
- Develop and deliver a clear social media strategy for each business, aligned with brand positioning, marketing priorities and growth objectives.
- Own and maintain an integrated content calendar across Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn and other relevant platforms.
- Conduct audience, competitor and trend research to identify content opportunities and refine platform strategy.
- Maintain consistent tone of voice, messaging and visual standards while recognising the distinct audiences of each brand.
- Manage agreed social media budgets and external resources, ensuring activity is delivered on time and within budget.

Content Creation & Event Coverage
- Create high-quality, on-brand content including copy, images, graphics, reels and short-form video.
- Capture and publish timely content on-site at events, including behind-the-scenes, build, live and post-event material.
- Work with sales, operations and creative teams to turn projects, events and commercial priorities into compelling campaigns.
- Brief and coordinate colleagues, photographers, videographers and external partners where additional content support is required.
- Maintain an organised library of approved images, video, graphics and reusable content assets.
- Update and maintain the website and all related content.
Performance, Reporting & Optimisation
- Set and monitor meaningful KPIs for reach, engagement, audience growth, traffic, enquiries and campaign performance.
- Analyse platform and website data, produce regular reports and turn insights into practical improvements.
- Test content formats, messaging, publishing times and campaign approaches to improve results.
- Keep up to date with platform changes, social media trends and best practice, recommending appropriate new opportunities.
The Ideal Candidate
Social Media & Content Experience
- Proven experience managing social media channels and creating engaging content for business, brand or agency audiences.
- Confident creating platform-appropriate content across channels such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn and other relevant social platforms.
- Experience planning content calendars, campaigns and social media activity that support brand, marketing and commercial objectives.
Commercial & Brand Awareness
- A commercially aware approach, with the ability to understand how social media supports enquiries, brand visibility, recruitment, client relationships and business growth.
- Strong awareness of social media trends, platform changes and content best practice, with the judgement to recommend ideas that are relevant to our brands and audiences.
- Experience using insights and analytics to measure performance, improve content and demonstrate the value of social media activity.
Planning & Organisation
- Excellent organisational, multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to manage content calendars, deadlines and live event activity.
- The ability to manage a varied workload across multiple brands, platforms and projects while working effectively to tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail, with excellent copy-checking, scheduling, information-gathering and content-planning skills.
- A self-motivated and proactive approach, with the confidence to suggest ideas, capture opportunities and use initiative.

Communication & Collaboration
- Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to write clear, engaging and brand-appropriate copy for different platforms and audiences.
- The ability to communicate effectively with colleagues across creative, technical, sales, production and operational teams to gather content, agree priorities and coordinate activity.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with followers, clients, partners, venues, suppliers and wider industry communities in a professional and brand-appropriate way.
Essential Skills
- A strategic and creative mindset, with the ability to identify new ideas and commercial opportunities.
- A willingness to learn new skills and develop technical knowledge to confidently promote 21CC Group products and services.
- Strong IT skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience using Canva and other relevant presentation, CRM, or analytical software would be advantageous.
- The ability to manage high-pressure situations with professionalism and composure.
- Willingness to travel to client meetings, venues, industry events, and event sites, with a full UK driving licence and access to own transport essential.
Employee Benefits
- This is a permanent, full-time position within 21CC Group. Part-time working may be considered for the right candidate.
- Flexible working hours, with core hours from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm each working day.
- 31 days of holiday per year, including bank holidays, with five days allocated by the company.

Salary
- £32-38k per annum, based on a 40-hour working week.
