Digital Marketing Officer - Long Term Contract

£25 per hour (experience dependent) + immediate start + minimum 6-month contract (strong possibility of extension) + WFH/Office split + collaborative & friendly working environment

We are looking to engage with a Digital Marketing Officer to help a hugely innovative and exciting global pharmaceutical organisation drive their digital marketing strategy.

Digital Marketing Officer Remit:

  • Responsible for planning, delivering, and optimising digital marketing campaigns, customer engagement, and omnichannel activities.
  • Work closely with brand teams, customer-facing teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Own the delivery of digital campaigns, customer engagement activities, and digital platforms that enhance customer experience and improve engagement.
  • Provide digital expertise, recommendations, and constructive challenge to support engagement planning and decision-making, ensuring activities are insight-led, compliant, and aligned with customer and business needs.
  • Lead the execution, deployment, and optimisation of digital activities across email, websites, analytics, CRM, webinars, and other customer engagement platforms.
  • Monitor campaign performance, customer engagement, and channel effectiveness, providing recommendations for optimisation and continuous improvement.
  • Use customer and campaign insights to provide recommendations that improve customer experience, engagement, and business outcomes.
  • Manage relationships with third-party digital suppliers and agencies.

Digital Marketing Officer Profile:

  • Degree or professional qualification in marketing, digital marketing, communications, or a related discipline (e.g., CIM, IDM, or equivalent).
  • Significant experience in digital marketing, digital engagement, or a related role, with a proven track record of delivering digital campaigns, customer engagement activities, and platform management.
  • Understanding of digital marketing channels and customer engagement approaches, including email, web, search, social, and marketing automation.
  • Experience within pharmaceutical, healthcare, or other regulated industries.
  • Understanding of customer engagement, omnichannel, and customer journey planning.
  • Experience with Veeva, Salesforce, SFMC, Sitecore, or similar CMS platforms.
  • Knowledge of customer segmentation, personalisation, and customer experience principles.
  • Understanding of ABPI, PAGB, or relevant compliance frameworks.
  • Awareness of AI-enabled tools and emerging digital technologies.
