Digital Marketing (Paid Media & Tracking) Position
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Digital Marketing (Paid Media & Tracking) based in United Kingdom.
This hands-on digital marketing role focuses on paid media execution, advertising analytics, and reliable conversion tracking.
You will help manage campaigns across multiple advertising platforms while ensuring that every important customer interaction is accurately measured.
The role combines digital advertising with technical tracking, requiring you to work directly with pixels, events, analytics tools, and campaign data.
You will investigate discrepancies, troubleshoot broken events, and improve the reliability of the tracking infrastructure behind paid campaigns.
Working closely with the marketing team, you will support campaign setup, audience tracking, retargeting, attribution, and performance measurement.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys solving practical technical problems and understanding how data moves across marketing systems.
You will work in a fast-paced, fully remote environment where attention to detail, curiosity, and hands-on execution are highly valued.
Accountabilities
The Digital Marketing (Paid Media & Tracking) professional will support the day-to-day operation of paid media and tracking systems, ensuring campaigns are properly configured and marketing data is captured accurately across platforms.
- Set up, manage, and troubleshoot Meta Pixel, Meta Events Manager, custom events, and conversion configurations.
- Support paid advertising campaigns across Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, Reddit Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and other relevant platforms.
- Define and maintain consistent event tracking structures, including event names, parameters, properties, and conversion definitions.
- Implement and validate pixels, events, conversion tracking, UTM parameters, and other tracking solutions across websites and campaigns.
- Work with tools including PostHog, GA4, Google Tag Manager, Meta Events Manager, Brevo, and Microsoft Clarity.
- Monitor tracking performance and investigate discrepancies between advertising platforms, analytics systems, and website data.
- Diagnose tracking issues and determine why events or conversions are not firing, recording, or attributing correctly.
- Test and validate events across multiple platforms to ensure accurate and consistent data collection.
- Ensure key events and conversions are correctly defined, captured, and attributed.
- Assist with campaign setup, audience tracking, retargeting, and conversion measurement.
- Analyze campaign and tracking data to identify technical issues and opportunities for optimization.
- Collaborate with website and landing-page workflows to ensure accurate data collection and attribution.
- Maintain clear documentation for event naming conventions, tracking structures, and implementation processes.
- Stay informed about changes in advertising platforms, tracking technologies, attribution methods, and privacy requirements.
- Test and troubleshoot new tracking configurations before campaigns go live.

Requirements
The ideal candidate is practical, detail-oriented, and technically curious, with the ability to work directly inside advertising and analytics platforms. You should understand the full tracking journey from event definition through data capture, attribution, and conversion reporting.
- Hands-on experience with Meta Ads Manager, Meta Pixel, Meta Events Manager, and custom events or conversions.
- Experience with TikTok Ads, Reddit Ads, and LinkedIn Ads.
- Practical experience using PostHog, GA4, Google Tag Manager, Microsoft Clarity, and Brevo.
- Strong understanding of event tracking concepts, including event names, parameters, properties, conversion definitions, and attribution.
- Experience troubleshooting tracking problems and identifying why events or conversions fail to fire, record, or attribute correctly.
- Familiarity with server-side tracking and Conversions API is a strong plus.
- Experience with emerging advertising platforms, including ChatGPT Ads, is an advantage.
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets, dashboards, analytics data, and campaign performance reports.
- Basic understanding of website elements and the technical implementation of tracking solutions.
- Strong attention to detail and an analytical, hands-on approach to problem solving.
- Ability to investigate issues independently and identify practical solutions.
- Comfortable working across multiple paid media channels and quickly learning new platforms and technologies.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills when working with marketing and other cross-functional teams.
- Ability to balance campaign execution with accurate measurement and data quality.
