About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team at Kühne + Nagel. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the movement of goods, ensuring seamless communication between clients, carriers, and internal departments. Your primary focus will be on optimizing supply chain processes, maintaining accurate documentation, and providing exceptional service to our customers. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
- Prior experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain coordination.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications such as TMS, ERP systems, and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proactive attitude, problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor the transportation of goods, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, customs documentation, and inventory levels.
- Communicate effectively with clients, carriers, and internal teams to facilitate smooth operations.
- Identify and resolve logistical issues promptly, escalating complex problems when necessary.
- Assist in planning and optimizing supply chain processes to improve efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
- Support the onboarding and training of new team members as required.
- Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for process improvements.
- Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
