About The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Manager to join our team at Sony Music Entertainment China Ltd. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing innovative marketing strategies to promote our artists, albums, and events. You will work closely with the creative, digital, and sales teams to ensure cohesive branding and impactful campaigns that resonate with our target audiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the music industry, digital marketing channels, and consumer behavior in China. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence the cultural landscape and contribute to the growth of our artist roster and brand presence.

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, preferably within the entertainment or music industry.
- Demonstrated expertise in digital marketing, social media management, and campaign analytics.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Innovative, strategic thinkers with a passion for music and a keen understanding of the Chinese market.
- Proficiency in Mandarin and English is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to promote artists, albums, and live events.
- Manage digital marketing campaigns across platforms such as Weibo, WeChat, Douyin, and other relevant channels to maximize reach and engagement.
- Coordinate with creative teams to produce compelling content, including promotional materials, music videos, and social media assets.
- Monitor campaign performance using analytics tools, providing insights and optimizing strategies for better results.
- Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, influencers, and strategic partners to enhance brand visibility.
- Organize and oversee promotional events, press conferences, and artist appearances, ensuring seamless execution.
- Conduct market research to stay abreast of industry trends and consumer preferences, applying insights to refine marketing approaches.
- Collaborate with sales teams to develop promotional packages and campaigns that support revenue growth.
- Manage budgets effectively, ensuring cost-efficient marketing activities.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice and uphold the company’s reputation within the industry and the public.
- Prepare regular reports on marketing activities and performance metrics for senior management.
