About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Professional to join Skills for Care as a Workforce Development Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs tailored to the needs of social care providers. Your primary focus will be to enhance workforce skills, promote best practices, and support career development within the social care sector. You will work closely with care providers, training partners, and internal teams to deliver impactful learning solutions that align with organizational goals and sector standards. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of social care policies, and a passion for workforce development and continuous improvement.

Qualifications
- Minimum of a relevant bachelor’s degree in social care, education, or a related field.
- Proven experience in workforce training, development, or project management within the social care sector.
- Strong knowledge of current social care policies, standards, and best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using digital tools and learning management systems.
- A proactive approach, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to continuous professional development.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver tailored training programs to social care providers, ensuring alignment with sector standards and organizational objectives.
- Assess the training needs of care providers and identify opportunities for workforce development initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to design innovative learning solutions, including workshops, e-learning modules, and resource materials.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics, making improvements as necessary.
- Provide expert guidance and support to care providers on workforce development strategies, compliance, and best practices.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislative changes and sector developments to ensure training content remains relevant and compliant.
- Contribute to the organization’s strategic planning and reporting related to workforce development initiatives.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the social care community.
