Digital Marketing Specialist

Join our international team as a Digital Marketing Specialist. Digital Marketing Specialist supports delivery of the Biomapas marketing plan, with a focus on digital channels. The role delivers and optimizes day-to-day digital activity, including paid campaigns, SEO, the website and email marketing.

It is also a broad, hands-on role. Alongside digital, the person will support design, events, internal and external communications, and marketing coordination across a small, growing team.

Key areas of responsibility and main tasks

Digital marketing:

  • Run and optimize paid campaigns on LinkedIn and Google Ads, including targeting, A/B testing and tracking spend against budget
  • Set up and maintain conversion tracking, landing pages and retargeting
  • Update website content and support on-page and technical SEO
  • Manage email marketing campaigns, including building, sending and tracking emails such as the monthly newsletter and nurture emails
  • Manage organic social media day to day
  • Support general CRM and marketing automation management so leads are tracked properly
  • Produce regular reports on digital channel and campaign performance against agreed KPIs

Marketing and communications support:

  • Execute marketing tasks in the Marketing Plan and maintain the marketing calendar
  • Create day-to-day marketing materials in Canva, such as social graphics and simple collateral, and support sales presentation design in PowerPoint
  • Brief and manage freelance designers on larger creative work, such as event stands, campaign assets and video.
  • Write, proofread and edit content across different channels
  • Coordinate events and exhibitions, including logistics, booth and stand materials, and keep marketing collateral stocked
  • Coordinate marketing activities and brief and work with agencies, freelancers, PR companies, designers and web developers
  • Support consistent internal and external communications, including internal comms with HR and communication on company initiatives

Requirements

  • Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field
  • 3–4 years in marketing, ideally B2B; life sciences or pharma services is an advantage
  • At least 1–2 years hands-on experience running LinkedIn and/or Google Ads campaigns
  • Working knowledge of SEO, website CMS (e.g. WordPress) and email marketing tools
  • Comfortable with analytics and reporting (e.g. GA4)
  • Experience with CRM, marketing automation or Google Tag Manager is an advantage
  • Willingness to embrace and learn AI tools for content, campaigns and analysis; existing experience is an advantage
  • Confident with design tools such as Canva or Figma; Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and video editing are an advantage
  • Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Fluent English, written and spoken
  • Strong organization and ability to prioritize across many tasks
  • Strong attention to detail and reliable delivery
  • Clear communication and writing skills
  • Hands-on and proactive; happy to pitch in across the team
