DIGITAL MEDIA ASSISTANT
RESPONSIBLE TO:
Head of Ad Operations
SALARY:
£28,000
LOCATION:
Central Manchester and home working
HOURS OF WORK:
37.5 hours p/ week, 9am-5.30pm Monday to Friday, this includes a 1-hour lunch break.
What We Are Looking For
A motivated and highly organized individual who has an interest in digital marketing, particularly social media.
The role of Digital Media Assistant is ideally suited to someone who has worked in an office environment before and is looking to progress into senior roles.
You will be competent using a computer, with good excel knowledge and will have employed this knowledge in a work-based environment before.
We want someone who has a naturally high attention to detail as well as an effective communicator, via phone, email or conference call.
Training will be provided on the job but an existing knowledge of the above is highly desirable.
The Role & Main Duties
The role is primarily based around the building and management of online advertising campaigns across a variety of social platforms. This involves having an ability to keep track of numerous tasks whilst also being able to manage relationships with clients:
- Assisting with a range of tasks across the digital marketing team
- Providing administrative and clerical support
- Help build and maintain rapport with clients and agency contacts
- Building campaigns across our portfolio of social media & streaming platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Snapchat, TikTok, Twitch and YouTube
- Analysing campaign data to ensure optimal management of campaigns
- Creating campaign reports and providing to clients with insights and recommendations
- Maintain a thorough understanding of all products & AI

The chosen candidate should:

ESSENTIAL:
- Team player
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
- High attention to detail
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced dynamic environment
- Excellent time management skills
DESIRABLE:
- Experience of Digital Advertising
- Knowledge of social media platforms and online trends
- Advanced Excel skills (Formulas, Pivot Tables, IF statements)
- Creative experience, particularly in image/video manipulation
- Experience working with AI
