Job Title: Digital Media Operator
Location: Dublin, Ireland
Employment Type: Full-Time, On-Site
Annual Salary: 35,000.00 - 40,000.00 Euros
Position Overview
Resillion is seeking an experienced Digital Media Operator to support media processing, file creation, quality control, and digital delivery workflows across feature films, television, and streaming content. This role is responsible for preparing and validating media assets, creating deliverables, ensuring technical compliance, and supporting efficient post-production workflows.
The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of file-based media workflows, technical quality control processes, transcoding, metadata validation, and content delivery requirements within a professional post-production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, process, and validate media deliverables according to client specifications and technical requirements.
- Perform secondary QC reviews to identify and document video, audio, metadata, and formatting issues prior to delivery.
- Verify file specifications including resolution, aspect ratio, audio configuration, color space, metadata, and overall file integrity.
- Generate and maintain accurate QC documentation, reports, and project records.
- Review and implement corrections based on QC reports and technical fix requirements.
- Ensure completed assets meet client specifications, delivery requirements, and established workflow standards.
- Perform technical assessments using waveform monitors, audio meters, and other industry-standard tools.
- Troubleshoot playback issues, file errors, metadata discrepancies, and workflow-related technical issues.
- Maintain consistency across multiple versions, formats, and deliverables while tracking project requirements.
- Support transcoding, media processing, and file preparation workflows using professional tools and applications.
- Provide accurate project updates and technical information to supervisors, production teams, and stakeholders.
- Support workflow improvements, technical documentation, and departmental best practices.

Qualifications And Experience
- 3+ years of experience in media operations, post-production, QC, mastering, or a related technical role.
- Extensive experience with file-based media workflows including HD, 2K, UHD, 4K, HDR-10, and Dolby Vision.
- Strong working knowledge of professional file formats including TIFF, DPX, J2K, ProRes, H.264, and IMF packages.
- Experience with Colorfront Transkoder and Resolve, including transcoding, metadata management, and Dolby Vision workflows.
- Experience with professional post-production tools such as Adobe Premiere, Pro Tools, and QuickTime Pro preferred.
- Strong understanding of video, audio, codecs, frame rates, timecode, metadata, and digital delivery specifications.
- Experience troubleshooting technical issues related to media files, playback systems, and post-production workflows.
- Professional audio mixing experience preferred.

- Authorization to work in Ireland indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
