About Us

Hunterlodge is a UK-based full-service agency with an exciting and fast-growing portfolio of clients across higher education, public sector and commercial brands. We specialise in delivering integrated, insight-driven campaigns that connect audiences with organisations in meaningful ways.

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a Media Planner to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in media planning, buying, or digital paid media who is looking to develop their expertise across integrated campaigns spanning digital and offline channels.

At Hunterlodge, we promote a culture of continuous learning, innovation and professional development. Our commitment to excellence ensures we remain at the forefront of the evolving media landscape, delivering outstanding results for our clients.

The Opportunity

This is not a traditional planning role requiring years of media planning experience.

Instead, we're looking for someone who understands how modern digital advertising platforms work and wants to use that knowledge to help shape wider media strategies.

You may currently be working as a:

  • Paid Media/Digital Executive
  • Paid Social Executive
  • PPC Executive

and be looking for an opportunity to move beyond campaign activation into strategic media planning.

You'll use your understanding of platforms such as Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn and TikTok to help develop integrated media recommendations, while gaining experience across channels such as out-of-home, audio, video and broadcast media.

Role Overview

As a Media Planner, you will help translate client briefs into effective, audience-led media strategies.

Working alongside the wider agency team, you will recommend the most effective channel mix, budgets, targeting approaches and campaign structures to achieve client objectives.

You'll contribute to the planning, buying and delivery of campaigns across both digital and traditional media channels, using performance insights and audience understanding to shape strategic recommendations.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
