About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, innovative, and forward-thinking registered health care professional to join our team in a role that integrates medicines and clinical knowledge with digital transformation. Positioned at the interface between clinical practice and digital services, this role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the development, implementation, and optimisation of digital medicines systems across the organisation.
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with clinical teams and multidisciplinary digital services colleagues, including Software Development, Project Delivery, Change Management, IT Training, and Clinical Safety teams.
- Support the safe, effective, and user-centred implementation of digital medicines solutions.
- Act as a digital medicines expert, championing best practice, driving service improvement, and ensuring digital systems enhance both patient care and clinical workflow.
- Provide specialist expertise in the development, configuration, testing, and optimisation of electronic prescribing and medicines administration (ePMA) systems.
- Support the delivery of safe, effective, and efficient digital medicines services by undertaking system configuration, validation, testing, and user support activities.
- Contribute to system improvements, upgrades, and deployments, supporting service development and ensuring compliance with clinical safety standards (DCB0129/DCB0160).
- Act as a subject matter expert for digital medicines systems, providing advice, support, and training to clinical and operational staff.
- Maintain a level of clinical practice within their area of professional registration.
