Are you passionate about digital transformation, patient safety and improving the way medicines are prescribed and administered?
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and detail-focused Digital Medicines Support Officer to join our growing Digital Medicines team at Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust.
This is a key role supporting the implementation of Nervecentre Electronic Prescribing and Medicines Administration (ePMA) as part of the Trust’s strategic implementation of the Electronic Patient Record (EPR). You will help shape how digital medicines systems are introduced, adopted and optimised across inpatient, outpatient and day-case services.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong digital skills, a commitment to safe patient care, and an interest in developing expertise in clinical systems, medicines workflows and NHS digital transformation.
Working As Part Of The Digital Medicines Team, You Will Support The Successful Implementation, Optimisation And Ongoing Maintenance Of Nervecentre EPMA. Your Work Will Include
- Supporting system build, configuration, testing and implementation activity
- Helping prepare test scripts, complete testing and record outcomes
- Supporting user acceptance testing, upgrade testing and new functionality
- Preparing and maintaining user guides, quick reference guides, training materials and communications
- Providing first-line support to users, including floor walking during implementation and go-live periods
- Recording, categorising and escalating system issues, risks and incidents
- Supporting monitoring, reporting, audit and continuous improvement activity
- Working closely with pharmacy, clinical, digital, IT, informatics and EPR programme colleagues
- Helping users adopt safe, effective and efficient digital medicines workflows
