The role is accountable for optimising product visibility, ranking, recommendations, and content to ensure customers are presented with the most relevant tyres for their vehicle, driving requirements, and budget.
Working at the intersection of customer experience and commercial performance, the role balances key business objectives including conversion, revenue, margin, stock availability, and supplier priorities to maximise trading performance and customer satisfaction.
The role is based at our central offices in Letchworth, though will involve working from home and with local, regional, and national travel as required by the business.

- Manage promotional placement and featured ranges, including supplier-funded campaigns, ensuring optimal exposure and return on investment.
- Analyse customer behaviour and trading performance, including search trends, conversion funnels, and abandonment points, to identify optimisation opportunities.
- Ensure the accuracy and quality of tyre product data, including specifications, imagery, and supporting content, to maintain customer trust and compliance.
- Track, report, and communicate merchandising performance using analytics and reporting tools, translating insights into actionable improvements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Pricing, Purchasing, Marketing, SEO, CRM, Product, and Customer Service teams to deliver a cohesive and effective on-site experience.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
