About CISES

The Centre for International Security and Economic Strategy (CISES) is an independent London-based think tank exploring the intersection of global security, geopolitics, and economic policy.

We produce evidence-based research on global risks, regional crises, and emerging strategic challenges, helping policymakers, researchers, and the public better understand an increasingly interconnected world.

With 350+ research outputs, 13,000+ followers, and 1 million+ digital views, our digital presence continues to grow.

About the Role

We are looking for a Digital Officer (Instagram) to manage CISES's Instagram presence and support the publication and promotion of our research, policy briefs, videos, interviews, and events. The role focuses on ensuring approved content is published accurately, consistently, and engagingly, while helping our work reach the right audiences.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop practical experience in social media, digital communications, and community management within an international policy organisation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
