The Centre for International Security and Economic Strategy (CISES) is an independent, London-based think tank dedicated to examining the complex intersection of global security, geopolitics, and economic policy.
In an era of rapid shifts in the international order, CISES delivers rigorous, evidence-based insight into global risk, regional crises, and emerging strategic challenges. By bridging the gap between rigorous academic analysis and practical policy debate, we empower policymakers, researchers, and the public with the tools needed to navigate an increasingly interconnected world.
With our digital footprint continuing to expand—having published over 350 research outputs, built a community of more than 13,000 followers, and reached over 1 million views across our website and digital platforms— we are seeking a new Digital Officer (LinkedIn) to manage our presence on LinkedIn and manage its related publications (videos, policy briefs…). This role focuses on the accurate, timely, and engaging publication of approved content, helping ensure our research, briefings, and events reach the right audiences professionally and consistently.

About the position:
As a Digital Officer (LinkedIn) you will be responsible for:
- Scheduling and publishing approved content across LinkedIn.
- Maintaining and updating the CISES social media posting calendar.
- Coordinating post content with the various teams within CISES.
- Monitoring engagement metrics and suggesting adjustments based on performance.
- Supporting the promotion of CISES publications, briefings, and events.
Requirements:
Essential:
- Strong understanding of LinkedIn content management features (tags, content categories, publication process) and analytics.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical reading skills.
- An understanding of community management and social media engagements across multiple formats (short videos, articles, interviews, etc.).
- Candidates must be able to work effectively with minimal supervision, have excellent interpersonal, verbal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work remotely in an uninterrupted environment.

Desirable:
- Previous experience managing social media content in academic environment or at a think tank
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Political Science, Economics, Journalism, Public Policy, etc.) preferred but not mandatory.
