Job Title: Digital Operational Assistant (seasonal)
An exciting opportunity has opened to work within our E-commerce Department during its busiest time of year, the Christmas period.
This is a full-time, fixed-term position until the end of December 2026, working 37.5 hours per week, 09:00–17:30, 5 days out of 7, including some weekends.
The rate of pay for this role is £13.45 per hour.
About the role
Your duties will include selecting stock items from our retail warehouse and processing orders through our despatch system. The main duties will involve quality checking, folding and packing goods for customer orders to the required specifications, as well as carrying out other despatch-related tasks as required.
Manual handling tasks are involved, and full training will be provided. There may also be opportunities to carry out embroidery work for candidates with this skill.
Main responsibilities
- Picking, processing and packing e-commerce orders daily, carrying out pre-despatch checks and steaming and packaging all orders to the required company procedures and standards.
- Processing returns and refunds and returning stock to our warehouse as required.
- Supporting stock deliveries, transfers and inventory counts as required, while maintaining a safe working environment.
- Embroidery – personalising stock for customer orders.
- Working towards daily sales and order fulfilment targets (OTIF).
- Carrying out other duties as assigned by the management team.

- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Good computer literacy would be an advantage.
- The ability to work well as part of a team and on your own initiative.
- A calm, efficient and enthusiastic approach, even on the busiest of days.
- A high level of attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a tidy workplace.
- The ability to undertake a physically demanding role involving lifting and manual handling and being on your feet for the majority of the shift.
- The ability to fold, wrap and pack garments to a high standard in line with company requirements.
- Flexibility to work a rolling rota of 5 days out of 7, including weekends.
- A responsible and accountable approach to completing all assigned tasks.
- The ability to pass a colour vision test.
- Embroidery skills would be an advantage.
