Digital Operations Centre Manager
UK - North Lanarkshire - Bellshill
£55,000 - £60,000 + Package
Brief
Digital Operations Centre Manager needed for a large, well-known Facilities Management organisation based in Bellshill, Scotland who are looking to employ an experienced and well-rounded Digital Operations Centre Manager that takes pride in their work with an in-depth knowledge of BMS Remote Service Engineers, BMS Project Support and other digital/IoT services.
The successful candidate would need to have the relevant qualifications i.e. Degree level education, or Qualified and experienced trade (electrotechnical/remote systems) alongside a keen interest in managing self-delivered and subcontracted BMS services on a large scale. If you have experience or exposure to Trend, Tridium, Siemens etc. that would be a plus!

What the role entails
Some of the main duties of the Digital Operations Centre Manager will include:
- Responsibility for digital service provision in the DOC
- Day to Day Management of BMS Remote Service Engineers, BMS Project Support and other digital/IoT services (approx. 10 persons)
- Managing specialist supplier relationships
- Regular contract reviews with customers and senior clients, upselling services where possible
- Excellent commercial acumen, understanding of KPIs & strong history of successfully delivery contracts
- BMS, IT, Software, Operational understanding and awareness
- Delivery of contract KPI's - meeting SLAs
- Management of statutory, legal, safety and contract compliance standards
- Stakeholder engagement and supporting PMO
- P&L responsibility between £1m - £3m
- Travelling to sites in the portfolio to undertake service reviews, safety visits and meet teams

What experience you need to be the successful Digital Operations Centre Manager
- Degree level education, or Qualified and experienced trade (electrotechnical/remote systems)
- Experience of managing self-delivered and subcontracted BMS services on a large scale, software, networking and Java
- Thorough working knowledge of the BMS industry and systems our teams may encounter (i.e., Trend, Tridium, Siemens etc)
- Excellent knowledge of HVAC plant and other M&E systems
- Experience within a variety of contract environments
- P&L Responsibility with a track record of success
- Strong client focus and clear, concise communication skills
- Excellent commercial acumen, understanding of KPIs & strong history of successfully delivery contracts in financial terms
- Ability to work collaboratively and flexibly with the team, clients, support functions and other departments to optimise service levels
- Working knowledge of CAFM/Other Systems
