We support The Coca-Cola Company (TCCC) in delivering its digital transformation across Europe.
We are looking for an exceptional Digital Operations Director, Europe
To lead our European Digital Operations organisation and advance innovative, data-driven and consumer-centric digital experiences across TCCC’s European markets.
Leading a geographically dispersed organisation of approximately 30–50+ people, through multiple layers of leadership, you will combine operational excellence with strategic leadership, transformation and capability building. You will operate with significant autonomy, setting direction and empowering your leadership team while ensuring strong governance, performance and alignment across markets.
Your primary stakeholder will be the Senior Director, Digital Platforms & Experiences, EU Marketing and Consumer & Customer Data, Technology & Capabilities, and IT, working closely with Digital Platform Directors and senior marketing and technology stakeholders across Europe.
What you will do
- Set the strategy, operating model and priorities for European Digital Operations.
- Lead, coach and empower Area Managers and Digital Managers, creating clear accountability and strong local ownership.
- Drive organisational transformation, capability development and adoption of new digital platforms and ways of working.
- Oversee performance, capacity, workforce planning, delivery and operational risks across markets.
- Act as the senior escalation point for operational, stakeholder and people-related matters.
- Build trusted relationships with Coca-Cola’s senior European and local-market stakeholders, influencing priorities and decisions in a complex matrix organisation.
- Standardise, simplify and optimise ways of working while maintaining the flexibility required by individual markets.
- Oversee the localisation and delivery of digital experiences across websites, mobile applications, CRM programmes and connected consumer journeys.
- Use operational and consumer data to improve performance, prioritisation, engagement and digital outcomes.
- Identify successful market initiatives and scale best practices across Europe.
- Ensure effective governance across digital operations, including localisation, testing, consumer data, privacy, accessibility and regulatory requirements.
- Build a high-performing organisation through talent development, succession planning, recruitment and retention.
- Foster strong collaboration across marketing, technology, bottling partners, legal, procurement, public affairs, agencies and other key partners.
- Create a culture of collaboration, accountability, continuous improvement and consumer-centricity.

Above all, you are passionate about marketing, technology and creating outstanding digital consumer experiences at scale.
- You bring significant experience, typically 10+ years, across digital marketing, digital operations or technology-enabled consumer experiences, including areas such as CRM, websites, mobile applications, digital platforms and consumer data.
- You are an accomplished leader of leaders, experienced in managing large, geographically dispersed teams in complex international organisations. You know how to set direction, empower other leaders and build high-performing teams.
- You have successfully led organisational change and digital transformation, turning strategy into scalable capabilities, new ways of working and measurable operational improvements.
- You understand how to translate regional or global digital strategies into effective local-market execution and are comfortable balancing standardisation and governance with market autonomy.
- You are commercially aware and use performance data, consumer insights and capacity information to make decisions and prioritise investment.
- You are an influential communicator who can build trusted relationships with senior executives and align stakeholders across marketing, technology and other functions around clear priorities and outcomes.
- You are comfortable navigating ambiguity, managing competing priorities and making sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with paid media and social media teams is an advantage.
- Most importantly, you bring strong judgement, curiosity and a continuous-improvement mindset, combining the autonomy to lead with the collaborative approach required to succeed in a complex European organisation.
