DC Thomson is hiring for a proactive and detail-oriented Digital Operations Executive to join our Digital Advertising Operations team in either our Aberdeen, Dundee or Glasgow office.
We own some of the country's best-loved and trusted media brands, from news, sport and business to entertainment, comics and puzzles, a leading genealogy platform and tech services business. As a Digital Operations Executive, you'll play an important role in supporting the successful delivery of digital advertising campaigns across a range of platforms, working closely with commercial, creative and content teams to ensure clients receive exceptional results.
The Digital Ad Operations team is a modern and continually evolving function that delivers a high volume of digital advertising campaigns for both our customers and internal brands. Working at the heart of DC Thomson's digital operation, the team collaborates closely with Commercial Content, Creative and Commercial Development colleagues to ensure campaigns are delivered to agreed objectives and performance benchmarks.
Operating in a fast-paced environment shaped by evolving technology, changing audience behaviours and growing demand for digital advertising solutions, this role focuses on campaign execution, optimisation, reporting and stakeholder collaboration. The successful candidate will help drive performance across multiple platforms while continuously adapting to new tools, channels and opportunities within the digital landscape.

Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the wider Ad Operations team with the successful management of a high volume of digital advertising campaigns
- Delivering dynamic multi-platform advertising campaigns across a range of systems including Facebook, Instagram and Google Ad Manager
- Monitoring and optimising campaigns to ensure they achieve agreed performance targets and benchmarks
- Analysing campaign performance and maintaining accurate reporting and campaign administration
- Coordinating with Commercial Content, Creative and Sales teams to ensure campaign assets are received and delivered on schedule
- Collaborating with the Commercial Development team to produce post-campaign analysis and performance reports
- Contributing to continuous improvements in campaign delivery processes and platform expertise
Requirements
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships across multiple teams
- Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
- Business-level computer literacy including Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to learn new systems, products and digital platforms quickly
- A keen interest in emerging commercial channels including search, social media and email marketing
- Strong administrative and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Ability to work accurately under pressure and consistently meet deadlines
- Adaptability and willingness to embrace ongoing changes within digital platforms and technologies
Experience:
- Experience working in a digital, marketing, advertising, media or administrative environment would be advantageous
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
- Able to work independently whilst contributing positively as part of a wider team
- Experience managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
- An interest in digital advertising, campaign performance and online marketing channels
