Digital Optimising Assistant - Hybrid role working 2 days a week from our office in Croxley Park

Are you passionate about digital experiences, customer journeys, and bringing online campaigns to life? Do you have a great eye for detail, a flair for organisation, and enjoy working in a fast-paced retail environment?

At Signet Jewelers, home to H. Samuel and Ernest Jones, we're looking for a Digital Optimising Assistant to join our Digital team on a fixed-term contract covering maternity leave. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in e-commerce, website optimisation, trade marketing, and digital merchandising for two of the UK's leading jewellery brands.

What you'll be doing

As Digital Optimising Assistant, you'll play a key role in ensuring our websites are engaging, accurate, and optimised to deliver the best possible customer experience.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Updating website content including banners, landing pages, promotional messaging, terms and conditions, and returns information.
  • Supporting the delivery of weekly trade marketing campaigns and brand updates across H. Samuel and Ernest Jones.
  • Monitoring the promotional calendar and helping measure campaign performance.
  • Optimising product listings, navigation, filters, landing pages, and product detail pages to improve conversion and customer experience.
  • Merchandising products online using customer and performance data.
  • Supporting SEO updates and website enhancement initiatives.
  • Carrying out regular onsite reviews to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Assisting with creative briefing and coordination of digital assets.
  • Ensuring all content is accurate, on-brand, visually appealing, and customer-focused.
  • Analysing customer behaviour and competitor activity to generate actionable insights and recommendations.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
