Digital Performance & AI Marketing Executive

Yo-Yo OFFICE | Remote, Hybrid, London or Coalville | £30,000 | Full-time, permanent

This is not a traditional PPC role.

We're looking for a commercially minded marketer to grow profitable online revenue for Yo-Yo DESK, and to help us build the capability we'll need as customer discovery moves beyond Google into AI experiences.

You'll run performance marketing hands-on while helping us develop AI search, SEO, CRM, conversion and automation. You'll work closely with the Managing Director and the marketing team, who will support you on product, messaging, creative and commercial direction.

What you'll do

Paid search

  • Google Ads, Shopping, Performance Max and Microsoft Ads. This covers structure, bidding, search terms, audiences, creative testing, remarketing, budgets and forecasting. The goal is profitable incremental revenue, not traffic or headline ROAS.

Paid social

  • Meta and Instagram for D2C, LinkedIn for B2B and YoYo WORKS, and tests of emerging channels where they are commercially justified.

AI search & GEO

  • Improve how AI platforms discover and reference our brands and products. That means authoritative content, entity optimisation, structured data, product feeds, third-party authority and AI visibility monitoring. GEO is a new discipline, so we don't expect years of experience in it. We do expect curiosity and experimentation.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

SEO

  • Find high-value opportunities, improve product and category pages, flag technical issues and track organic commercial performance, working hand in hand with AI search.

AI-enabled content

  • Use AI to create and test landing pages, product copy, ad creative, email and SEO/GEO content. Pair it with human judgement, brand consistency and factual accuracy.

CRM & lifecycle

  • Connect advertising → website → CRM → email → sales. This includes lead capture, segmentation, abandoned-cart and enquiry journeys, nurturing and repeat purchase, so we get more value from the traffic we already generate.

Tracking & CRO

  • You don't need to be a developer. You do need to understand GA4, GTM, Merchant Centre, pixels, Conversion APIs, Consent Mode and attribution well enough to spot problems and make sure decisions rest on reliable data. You'll also challenge assumptions and run measurable tests on pages, offers, checkout and mobile.

Amazon Ads experience is a bonus, not essential.

Who you are

You're probably working as a Digital, Performance, PPC, Paid Media, Ecommerce or Growth Marketing Executive. You have hands-on experience with several of these: Google Ads, Shopping/PMax, Meta Ads, GA4, GTM, Merchant Centre, SEO, email/CRM and CRO.

You're genuinely interested in generative AI and already experiment with new platforms yourself. You naturally ask questions like these:

  • Which sales are genuinely incremental?
  • Where are we wasting spend?
  • What's happening to acquisition cost?
  • Why aren't visitors converting?
  • How is AI changing the buying journey?
  • What should we test next?

We value commercial thinking over vanity metrics.

How success is measured

  • Profitable digital revenue
  • ROAS and efficiency
  • Customer acquisition cost
  • Conversion rate
  • Organic and AI visibility
  • CRM-attributed revenue
  • A structured testing programme
