Location: London TVC - Hybrid
Proposed Salary Range: £26,000 - £29,000 plus London Weighting £5,441 added on top of the base salary, depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

Purpose of the Role
You'll help deliver annual and long-range planning, portfolio strategy, reporting and cross-functional initiatives for key brands such as Bluey and Top Gear, helping turning data, research and business context into clear strategic planning materials.
This junior/early-career role supports the Business Strategy & Planning function, which enables growth across the Digital Division by bringing together performance, market, audience and platform insight to inform clearer choices on portfolio priorities, commercial opportunity and editorial focus.

Why Join the Team
Build your career in a small, cross-functional planning team at the heart of BBC Studios Digital. You'll gain exposure to senior leaders and support projects across editorial, commercial and operations/transformational teams, while developing practical skills in research, Excel, PowerPoint, data interpretation and strategic planning.
Your Key Responsibilities And Impact
- Coordinate annual planning, long-range planning and portfolio strategy activity, bringing together stakeholder inputs, tracking actions, milestones and deliverables, and supporting workshops and planning meetings
- Create and maintain polished PowerPoint presentations, planning documents and executive-ready materials, turning data, research and business context into clear strategic narratives for leadership, planning reviews and go-to-market activity
- Conduct desk research on market, platform and competitor developments, summarising relevant insights and implications for the Digital Division
- Consolidate data from multiple sources and use Excel to support revenue and performance reporting, prepare summaries and simple analysis, and maintain accurate planning and reporting information
- Act as a key point of coordination across editorial, commercial and other teams, building strong relationships with stakeholders at different levels and helping improve planning processes, templates and ways of working.

Essential Criteria
Your Skills and Experience
- PowerPoint skills, with the ability to create clear, polished presentations that communicate data, plans and strategy effectively
- Excel skills and confidence working with data, including the ability to organise, manipulate, interpret and present information clearly
- Experience or demonstrable interest in digital media, content, entertainment, platforms or other consumer-facing businesses
- Experience supporting business planning, strategy, project coordination or operational activity, including through employment, internships, placements or relevant university/project work
- Experience producing reports, presentations or business documentation and turning quantitative and qualitative information into concise summaries.
Desired But Not Required
- Curiosity about the business and strategy side of digital media, entertainment, platforms and audience behaviour, with confidence in carrying out research and competitor reviews
- Excellent organisation, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities; proactive, comfortable using initiative and able to solve problems independently
- Familiarity with portfolio planning, go-to-market planning, commercial strategy or digital product/platform strategy
- Usage of digital tools to support research, analysis or presentation development.
