We’re looking for a passionate and talented Digital / Media Planning Manager to help drive the growth of our FMCG vertical as we scale globally!
This is a relocation opportunity for anyone from the UK to move to New Zealand.

ROLE PURPOSE

As a Media Planning Manager for ZURU, you will be responsible for media campaign planning across a portfolio of exciting and fast-growing ZURU brands spanning multiple consumer categories. These are high-energy brands with bold creative ambition, and this role is your opportunity to help shape how they show up in market.
You will support the delivery of best-in-class media planning across platforms including TikTok, Meta, YouTube and digital display, helping to develop audience frameworks and implement planning processes that drive results. You’ll bring a passion for building brands through the funnel- balancing performance delivery with brand-building activity to grow these exciting challenger brands.

You will work closely with the Media Buying team, Data & Analytics team, and ZURU brand teams across each vertical to ensure campaigns are well-planned, clearly measured, and aligned to business objectives. Roles & Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of Media Strategy and Planning across your ZURU assigned brands ensuring plans are insight-led and audience-first
- Contribute to the development and implementation of media measurement frameworks, working closely with the Media Buying and Data & Analytics teams
- Help embed the Future Demand philosophy into campaign planning, developing a deep understanding of brand-building media principles
- Stay close to platform trends and audience behaviour, proactively bringing forward new opportunities and ideas for channel adoption
- Build productive working relationships with tech and media partners to maximise value and innovation for ZURU brands
- Support the development of reporting cadences and contribute to performance reviews, translating data into actionable insights
- Collaborate with cross-functional brand and marketing teams to ensure all media activity aligns with brand and vertical objectives
- Contribute to a collaborative, curious and high-performing team culture, sharing learnings and supporting colleagues
Skills & Experience
- 4+ years’ experience in Digital Marketing, Media Planning or Paid Media, ideally within an agency or in-house brand environment
- Hands-on experience across key platforms including Meta Business Manager, TikTok Ads Manager and Google ad products
- Familiarity with media measurement approaches including performance reporting, brand lift and incremental testing
- Experience working on consumer brands — FMCG, CPG or similar categories preferred
- Exposure to digital channels including social, programmatic display and video; awareness of emerging formats such as CTV or retail media is a plus
- Strong communicator — confident sharing ideas, contributing to discussions and building relationships across teams
- Analytical and curious mindset with the ability to interpret data and turn it into clear recommendations
- Organised and proactive — able to manage multiple work streams, meet deadlines and flag issues early
- Eager to learn, take initiative and grow within a dynamic, high-performing global marketing team
