Digital PR Lead at Blue Array
Lead a growing team and shape the future of Digital PR at Blue Array 🚀
Are you leading a Digital PR team, or an experienced people manager ready for your next step? At Blue Array, we’re looking for a Digital PR Lead to lead our growing Digital PR team, help develop our Digital PR offering and work alongside our Head of SEO to bring Digital PR and SEO even closer together. It’s an exciting time to join us. We’re growing, we’ve just launched our Spanish office, and this role offers real opportunities for progression and development.
About the Digital PR team
Our Digital PR team supports clients across all sectors, from finance to fashion and lifestyle. We help them earn the visibility they deserve in the press, in search and increasingly in AI search, and drive growth. We care about results, and we care just as much about the relationships behind them, with our clients, with journalists and with each other.
The team is growing, so you’ll play a big part in shaping who joins, how we work and what we offer.
What you’ll do
You’ll lead the Digital PR team day to day, help shape our Digital PR strategy and offering, and look after some of our largest accounts. Your role will include:
- Team leadership: Lead, mentor and develop a growing Digital PR team so everyone keeps building skills and confidence. You’ll run regular 1:1s and performance reviews, give ongoing feedback, support hiring and onboarding as the team grows, and create a collaborative culture where creativity and new ideas thrive.
- Developing our Digital PR offering: Help shape how our Digital PR service evolves, from campaign formats and outreach approaches to building brand mentions and visibility in AI search. You’ll spot opportunities for new ideas, tools and better ways of working, and bring them into the team.
- Strategy and standards: Design and deliver Digital PR strategies that support client objectives, SEO strategy and the agency’s vision. You’ll set clear standards for campaign quality, outreach, and reporting; build best-practice processes; and ensure the team is trained on them, so every client gets a consistent, high-quality experience.
- Working with SEO: Partner with our Head of SEO and SEO teams to align Digital PR and SEO activity, so our campaigns have maximum impact on visibility, links and key SEO metrics.
- Key client relationships: Be the main point of contact for some of our largest clients. You’ll oversee campaign delivery, lead strategy and performance conversations, and build long-term relationships based on trust and results.
- Media relations: Make sure the team is building high-quality, relevant media lists, and work directly with top-tier press titles to secure interviews, exclusives and standout coverage.
- Performance and insight: Make sure client performance meets agreed KPIs. You’ll use data to show what’s working, spot where to improve and change strategy when needed. You’ll also help the team run well, including resourcing, profitability and time utilisation.
- New business: Support the Digital PR input on new business pitches, from shaping the ideas and pitch decks to presenting in the room. You’ll find opportunities to grow the services we offer existing clients, and work with the senior leadership team on renewals and outbound new business.
- Industry knowledge and knowledge sharing: Keep a close eye on what’s changing in media, Digital PR and search, and share it. You’ll champion high standards of work and communication (the Blue Array Way), help upskill the team and the wider agency through BA Sessions and knowledge-sharing workshops, and represent Blue Array at industry events.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Who you are
We know that great candidates don’t always tick every box. If you’re excited about this role and our mission, we’d love to hear from you, even if you don’t meet every single requirement.
You don’t need to be a Head of Digital PR already. This role suits someone who is leading a team now, or who has solid people-management experience and is ready for more. Some qualities and experience that will help you succeed:
- Strong Digital PR experience, ideally in an agency, including line managing or leading a team.
- A track record of campaigns that earn significant media coverage, quality links and audience engagement.
- Experience contributing to new business, such as shaping pitch ideas, building pitch decks or presenting to prospective clients.
- A people-first approach to leadership, with the ability to motivate, develop and support a diverse team.
- Good industry knowledge and curiosity about where Digital PR is heading, including its growing role in AI search and brand visibility.
- A strong grasp of SEO and how Digital PR supports it.
- Confidence with Digital PR tools, platforms and media databases.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas clearly.
- A proven track record in media relations and outreach.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience measuring campaign success through qualitative and quantitative metrics.
- The ability to juggle priorities in a fast-paced environment and tackle challenges proactively.
- A passion for storytelling and a keen interest in current events and digital media trends.
If you’re ready to lead, grow your career and help shape the next chapter of Digital PR at Blue Array, we’d love to talk to you!
