Office Attendance – Our hybrid working model gives you the best of both worlds - flexibility to work from home and valuable face-to-face time with colleagues. This role typically requires 2 days per week onsite.

As consumers increasingly discover brands, products and financial services through digital search, online media, social platforms and emerging AI-powered channels, as our Digital PR Manager you'll ensure Tesco Insurance and Money Services is accurately, positively and credibly represented wherever customers seek information.
Sitting within the PR and Communications team, the Digital PR Manager will lead the development and delivery of digital-first PR strategies that drive brand awareness, strengthen reputation, improve online visibility and support commercial objectives across Insurance and Money Services.
The role combines traditional media relations expertise with a strong understanding of digital PR, search trends, content amplification and reputation management. Working across PR, marketing, digital, SEO and commercial teams, you'll identify opportunities to generate impactful coverage, build high-quality media relationships, create newsworthy campaigns and ensure our products and propositions are represented accurately across digital channels.
You'll act as a trusted communications advisor, helping to manage reputational risks while identifying opportunities to build authority, trust and consideration for the Tesco Insurance and Money Services brand.
What you’ll be doing
- Developing and delivering digital PR strategies that enhance brand visibility, reputation and customer consideration.
- Creating and executing integrated PR campaigns that generate high-quality media coverage and support business priorities.
- Identifying newsworthy stories, data-led campaigns and thought leadership opportunities that drive earned media results.
- Managing agency and supplier relationships to maximise campaign effectiveness and return on investment.
- Monitoring media coverage, digital trends, customer behaviour and emerging opportunities to inform communications planning.
- Supporting the press office function, providing proactive and reactive media relations support when required.
- Identifying and managing reputational risks, escalating issues appropriately and providing expert communications counsel.
- Working closely with digital, content, SEO, social media and marketing teams to maximise the impact and reach of PR activity.
- Measuring, analysing and reporting on campaign performance, media coverage and business outcomes.
- Managing budgets and ensuring activity is delivered efficiently and effectively.
- Supporting wider external communications activity across Tesco Insurance and Money Services.
- Performance Management: Prioritise workflow and ensure work is completed to required standards of quality, productivity and timeliness.
- Public Relations Campaign Planning: Lead the development and delivery of tactical and strategic digital PR campaigns that support business objectives.
- Public Relations Campaign Execution: Deliver campaigns and provide expert advice across PR, media relations and reputation management activities.
- External Communications: Execute communication plans and ensure consistent, effective messaging across external audiences.
- Supplier and Agency Management: Manage agency relationships and external partners to deliver successful communications outcomes.
- Budgeting: Manage campaign budgets and support planning and forecasting activities.

What we’re looking for (minimum criteria)
- 4+ years' experience in PR, communications, media relations or digital PR, ideally within financial services, regulated industries or large complex organisations.
- Proven experience developing and delivering successful digital PR campaigns that drive media coverage and measurable business outcomes.
- Strong understanding of digital communications, online media, search trends and content amplification.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience working cross-functionally across communications, marketing, digital and commercial teams.
And if you have any of these, even better
- Familiarity with emerging AI search technologies, changing search behaviours and their impact on brand reputation.
- Experience managing agencies and external suppliers.
