Why This Role
You own Modulr’s voice and how we show day to day on owned and earned online channels, from a fast-moving LinkedIn trend in the morning to a considered pitch to an industry influencer in the afternoon.
You work closely with and learn from the Head of PR and Communications and the wider marketing team, on fast-moving campaigns and projects that make a real impact to the business.
You get to build something genuinely new for us: how Modulr engages with brands and partners to help us improve AI visibility.
Who We Are
Modulr is the payments automation platform that streamlines money movement with accuracy, control and reliability – built to scale. We process more than 200m transactions and over £180bn in payment value on an annualised basis, and we’re trusted by over 6,000 businesses from fast-growing SMEs to global enterprises.
We automate how money moves into and out of a business (payroll, supplier payments, spend management and payment collection) through a single platform, connected to the accounting and payroll systems finance teams already use, and underpinned by principal memberships of Visa and Mastercard and direct access to central bank infrastructure.
As a regulated payments provider with over a decade of experience, we’re the platform finance teams trust to run mission-critical operations. Modulr is backed by PayPal, FIS, General Atlantic, Blenheim Chalcot, Frog Capital and Highland Europe, with over 400 employees across London, Edinburgh, Amsterdam and Mumbai.
Find out more about us on our website.
The Role
You will own the day-to-day running of Modulr’s social media presence and digital PR outreach, working closely with the Head of PR and Communications to build a consistent, credible and engaging brand voice across our owned channels and in online/digital earned media.
This is a hands-on role for someone who deeply understands social media trends shaping B2B, payments, and fintech conversations online, and how to join these conversations in an authentic way. You will also take the lead on a newer piece of the puzzle: identifying and creating campaigns around brands and platforms we should work with to improve AI visibility.
You will lead on strategy and calendars for our social media channels, what platforms we should engage with and wen, content creating, influencer relationship building, and tracks what is working, reporting into the Head of PR and Communications.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
