Digital Print Operator
London - Canary Wharf, Monday to Friday
Up to £30,000 + Great Benefits
The Opportunity:
Get Recruited are recruiting on behalf of a design and branded merchandise business who are looking for a Digital Print Operator to join their retail team. This is a hands-on role where you'll produce high-quality printed materials while delivering outstanding service to every customer. You'll be responsible for managing print jobs from start to finish, maintaining excellent print quality, and helping customers choose the right products and services to meet their needs.
The Role:
- Operate Xerox digital print equipment.
- Prepare and set up print jobs, selecting the correct media, colour settings, and finishing options.
- Monitor production to ensure every job meets quality standards.
- Use finishing equipment including laminators, binders, cutters, and other machinery where required.
- Welcome customers and help them choose the most suitable print products and services.
- Respond to customer enquiries in person, over the phone, and by email in a professional and timely manner.
- Offer guidance on artwork and file preparation to help customers achieve the best possible print results.
- Build positive relationships that encourage repeat business and excellent customer experiences.
- Process customer orders and payments accurately using the point-of-sale system.
- Maintain a professional and welcoming retail environment.
- Support colleagues during busy periods and contribute to the overall success of the team.

The Person:
- Previous experience operating digital print equipment, ideally Xerox production printers would be a big advantage but not necessary.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable, and professional attitude.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform well in a busy retail environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign would be a bonus.
- Previous experience in a retail, retail print or customer-facing print environment.
