Digital Process Delivery Officer | 11175 | Permanent Contract | 37 hours per week | £37,280 to £39,152 per annum (Scale I) | County Hall / Hybrid Working

Help deliver better digital services through focused, sprint-based delivery.

Norfolk County Council is looking for a Digital Process Delivery Officer to join our Digital Customer Experience Team. This is an exciting opportunity to help plan, build, test and release digital improvements through clear, structured sprint-based delivery.

You will work at the heart of digital transformation, helping services turn business needs into well-defined user stories, prioritised backlog items and practical digital processes. Working closely with technical colleagues, service stakeholders, development teams and suppliers, you will support each stage of the sprint cycle — from discovery and refinement through to testing, deployment and review.

In this role, you will help keep digital delivery moving at pace by supporting sprint planning, backlog refinement, build activity, testing, release preparation and continuous improvement. You will help ensure digital processes are well understood, well tested and ready to move confidently into live service.

  • Support sprint-based delivery by helping define, refine and prioritise user stories, requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Work with stakeholders, developers, testers and suppliers to remove blockers and keep sprint commitments on track.
  • Develop, configure, test and support end-to-end digital processes that meet customer, business and technical needs.
  • Coordinate testing, feedback and release readiness so digital changes can move smoothly from development into live service.
  • Use sprint outcomes, delivery metrics and retrospectives to monitor progress and improve throughput.
  • Ensure digital forms and processes meet accessibility, user experience, and data handling expectations.
  • Share knowledge and good practice across the team to strengthen platform use and digital process design.

We are looking for someone who is organised, delivery-focused and comfortable working in a sprint-based environment. You will enjoy turning ideas and service needs into clear, manageable pieces of work and supporting the delivery of digital improvements.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
