Digital Producer - Fixed-Term Contract until December 2026

We’re looking for a Digital Producer with strong VFX experience to join Studio B and help bring ambitious digital content to life.

You’ll be confident taking projects from initial brief through to final delivery, working across long-form and short-form digital content, including YouTube, social platforms, branded content, and digital campaigns. You’ll work closely with clients, creative teams, production, post-production, and VFX, bringing together the people, processes, and resources needed to deliver brilliant work. You’ll understand how to turn creative ambition into a clear production plan while keeping budgets, timelines, scope, and quality firmly under control.

This is a role for someone who is creatively minded, commercially aware, and technically confident, with a genuine understanding of digital production and VFX workflows.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Take ownership of digital projects from initial brief through to final delivery, turning creative ideas into clear production plans, treatments, schedules, budgets, shot lists, VFX plans, and delivery requirements.
  • Produce a range of digital content, from longer-form YouTube films and branded entertainment through to short-form content designed for digital and social platforms. You’ll understand how production, storytelling, pacing, and delivery requirements change depending on the format and audience.
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients and agencies, leading status meetings, managing expectations, capturing decisions, coordinating feedback, and keeping communication clear, proactive, and professional.
  • Build and manage production budgets, cost trackers, schedules, scopes of work, and change control. Identify risks early, manage scope, and ensure projects remain commercially on track.
  • Work closely with Creative Directors and wider creative teams to understand the ambition behind an idea and determine how best to produce it within the available budget, timeline, and resources.
  • Work closely with VFX artists, supervisors, editors, colourists, sound teams, and other post-production specialists. Understand the requirements of VFX-heavy projects and ensure the right information, assets, and resources are in place from pre-production through to final delivery.
  • Understand how production decisions impact VFX, including plates, camera and lens information, tracking, reference photography, HDRIs, clean plates, green screen, motion control, data capture, turnovers, renders, compositing, and final delivery.
  • Manage production schedules, crew bookings, supplier briefs, freelancer onboarding, locations, equipment, shoot logistics, call sheets, risk assessments, post schedules, client approvals, QC, and final asset delivery.
  • Keep feedback structured and manageable across creative, client, production, and post teams. Make sure everyone understands what has changed and the impact on budget, scope, or timeline.
  • Brief, negotiate with, onboard, and manage external VFX studios, post houses, production companies, freelancers, crew, suppliers, studios, and specialist vendors.
  • Ensure content is produced and delivered correctly across digital platforms, including YouTube and social channels. Understand different aspect ratios, resolutions, durations, codecs, captions, thumbnails, audio requirements, and platform specifications.
  • Maintain a high standard throughout production and post, ensuring creative intent is protected while managing technical specifications, brand requirements, legal clearances, usage rights, and final delivery requirements.
  • Spot risks, blockers, and production challenges early and find practical solutions. You’ll be someone who stays calm when things change and knows how to keep a project moving.
  • Help Studio B build better production processes, workflows, and ways of working as we grow. You’ll be encouraged to bring ideas that make projects more efficient without compromising creative quality.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Who You Are

  • You have strong experience producing digital content, branded content, commercials, YouTube, VFX, film, agency, or other high-quality creative work. You understand the realities of taking projects from idea through to delivery.
  • You have genuine experience working with VFX and understand the production and post-production process. You don’t need to be a VFX artist, but you should be comfortable speaking the language, understanding technical requirements, and working closely with VFX teams.
  • You understand digital audiences and how content needs to work across different formats and platforms. You’re comfortable producing both long-form and short-form content, with a strong understanding of YouTube and how digital content is consumed.
  • You’re comfortable dealing directly with clients and agencies, managing expectations, navigating difficult conversations, and protecting both the relationship and the commercial interests of the project.
  • You understand creative ambition and enjoy being part of the creative process, but you also know how to translate ideas into realistic production plans, budgets, and timelines.
  • You’re highly organized and confident managing multiple moving parts across budgets, schedules, suppliers, teams, approvals, and delivery.
  • You understand how creative, production, VFX, and post-production connect. You’re interested in the technical side of production and confident asking the right questions to ensure projects are set up properly.
  • Things change. Budgets move. Clients change their minds. Shots become more complicated. You’re comfortable navigating these challenges and finding a way forward.
  • You can keep multiple projects moving simultaneously without losing sight of the detail. You know that the small things can make a big difference to the final result.
  • You have a strong eye for quality and understand what good digital creative looks like. You care about the final work and want to make things better, not simply get them delivered.
  • You’re comfortable exploring AI tools to support research, planning, production administration, and workflow improvements, while applying good judgement around accuracy, confidentiality, copyright, and brand safety.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Digital Producer, Producer, or Senior Producer within digital, branded content, VFX, commercials, agency, production, post-production, or a similar creative environment.
  • Experience producing both long-form and short-form digital content.
  • Experience producing content for YouTube and other digital platforms.
  • Strong experience working with VFX and post-production teams.
  • Strong client and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent budgeting, scheduling, and project management ability.
  • Experience managing suppliers, freelancers, and external production partners.
  • Experience managing creative feedback, approvals, and change requests.
  • Strong understanding of production and post-production workflows.
  • Ability to translate creative ideas into practical production plans.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high standard of creative quality.
