Digital Product Designer - JP Morgan - London - 12 months - Onsite - PAYE

We are seeking an experienced Digital Product Designer to join Chase UK, JP Morgan's International Consumer Bank, on an initial 12 month contract in London.

This is a hands-on product design role for someone who combines excellent visual and interaction design craft with strong UX thinking.

We're looking for a designer who is passionate about how digital products look, feel and behave - someone who can take complex customer problems and turn them into polished, intuitive and engaging experiences across a consumer-facing mobile app.

Strong UI, visual and interaction design skills are essential.

The Role

You will take ownership of the design of customer-facing digital experiences, with a strong focus on visual design, interaction design and the quality of the final product.

You will work closely with Product, Engineering, Research and Design colleagues to turn complex requirements into simple, intuitive and beautifully crafted experiences.

You will:

  • Create high-quality UI and interaction designs for a consumer-facing mobile application.
  • Design intuitive experiences across complex journeys, flows and interactions.
  • Apply strong visual design principles across layout, typography, hierarchy, composition and interaction.
  • Develop detailed, production-ready designs that consider different states, behaviours and edge cases.
  • Create prototypes and use interaction design to demonstrate how experiences should look, feel and behave.
  • Work with and contribute to design systems, components and established design patterns.
  • Translate customer and product requirements into clear, engaging and usable digital experiences.
  • Work closely with Engineers to ensure the quality and intent of the design is maintained through delivery.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Researchers and other Designers within a cross-functional product team.
  • Use customer insight and research to inform and validate design decisions, while maintaining a strong focus on the quality of the final experience.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
