Digital Product Lead | Remote (UK) | Competitive Salary + EMI Equity
I'm partnering with an exciting, venture-backed consumer health & wellness technology company whose award-winning mobile app has already reached 3M+ users globally, combining technology, behavioural science and immersive experiences to help people improve their mental wellbeing.
They're looking for a Digital Product Lead to take real ownership of the product and help shape what's next.
This is a genuinely hands-on IC role within a very small, early-stage team for someone who wants to be deep in the product rather than managing a large team or sitting in layers of stakeholder meetings.
You'll be the person living in the data, talking to customers, spotting opportunities, defining problems, deciding what to test and working through the outcome.
The Opportunity
You'll be joining a business of around 10 people, so this is an environment where you'll have significant autonomy and influence.
The product is a global consumer mobile app operating around a subscription/freemium model, with different experiences that need to work together as one cohesive product.
You'll own the what and why behind the product, using data, customer insight and experimentation to understand user behaviour, identify opportunities and define the problems worth solving.
You'll be expected to get close to the detail yourself, living in the analytics, speaking directly with customers, forming hypotheses, designing experiments and turning validated opportunities into prototypes and product improvements.
The role is particularly suited to someone who has worked in an early-stage start-up, ideally in a business of a similar size, and enjoys operating as a hands-on IC without layers of process or a large function around them.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Product vision, strategy and roadmap for a global consumer mobile product
- Analytics across acquisition, activation, engagement, retention and subscription behaviour
- Customer research and direct user conversations
- Experimentation and A/B testing, including hypothesis formation, test design and interpreting results
- Identifying and clearly defining product problems and opportunities
- Taking opportunities from insight through to prototyping, validation and delivery
- Working closely with founders and engineering to turn insight into product improvements
- Designing simple product experiences yourself where appropriate
- Working with specialist design support where deeper UX/UI expertise is required
- Using AI tools such as Claude to accelerate research, analysis, prototyping and product development
- Bringing together the different parts of the product into a clear, cohesive product strategy and roadmap

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
What I'm Looking For:
- 4+ years' Product experience, with strong evidence of operating independently as a hands-on Product IC
- Strong experience across consumer mobile, subscription/freemium, growth, retention or engagement
- Genuine experience working on a consumer mobile app and subscription or freemium product
- A highly data-led approach, with the ability to interrogate and interpret product data yourself rather than relying on an analyst to tell you what is happening
- Hands-on experience designing and running A/B tests and experimentation
- Strong understanding of customer behaviour and the ability to combine qualitative insight with quantitative data
- Experience owning product strategy, roadmap and prioritisation
- A track record of working as a hands-on individual contributor and taking ownership of problems end-to-end
- Experience in an early-stage start-up, ideally within a similarly small team where you've had significant autonomy and ownership
- Comfortable operating without a large Product, Data or Design function around you and creating structure where it doesn't already exist
- Comfortable working with ambiguity, challenging assumptions and making decisions without everything being clearly defined
- A natural curiosity and strong product instinct, able to identify problems, ask the right questions and work out what is worth investigating rather than simply executing a pre-defined roadmap
- Genuine interest in using AI as part of your everyday product workflow

I'm interested in people who have already operated in a similarly small, early-stage business — where they've had to be both strategic and hands-on rather than relying on a large Product function around them.
You don't need to have worked in health & wellness before. What's important is that you've already experienced the small-team, high-autonomy environment and have genuine consumer mobile and subscription/freemium product experience.
What's On Offer
- Competitive salary
- EMI equity options
- Fully remote across the UK
- Opportunity to shape a consumer product used by millions globally
- Work directly with founders in a highly autonomous environment
- AI-first product culture
- Annual company retreats and team meet-ups
This is an opportunity for a hands-on Digital Product Lead who loves getting into the data, understanding customer behaviour, running experiments and owning problems end-to-end. It's particularly suited to someone who thrives in a small, early-stage environment, has genuine consumer mobile and subscription experience, enjoys working closely with founders and wants genuine ownership over the direction of a growing product.
If this sounds like you, or someone in your network, I'd love to hear from you. Please send across your CV to Zoe.hinkinson@propellondon.com
