£40,000 per annum

Partou is one of the UK’s leading childcare providers, as we continue to grow, we're investing heavily in technology, innovation and transformation to ensure we deliver the very best experience for our team members, families and children.

We're now looking for an experienced Product Owner to join our growing Digital Transformation team and help define the future of our digital landscape.

What You’ll Be Doing

As Product Owner, you'll take ownership of a portfolio of business-critical applications and digital products, shaping their vision, roadmap and future development. Working at the intersection of business and technology, you'll ensure our products deliver exceptional experiences, improve operational efficiency and support Partou's ambitious growth plans.

As Product Owner, You'll Be Responsible For

Setting Product Direction

  • Defining product vision, strategy and roadmaps.
  • Managing the full product lifecycle from enhancement through to optimisation.
  • Ensuring products continue to meet the evolving needs of colleagues, customers and operational teams.
  • Championing user-centred design and continuous improvement.

Working With Stakeholders

  • Building trusted relationships across the organisation.
  • Translating business needs into clear requirements and priorities.
  • Acting as the key point of contact for your product portfolio.
  • Bringing together users, technology teams and suppliers to deliver successful outcomes.

Delivering Value

  • Managing and prioritising product backlogs.
  • Coordinating enhancements, releases and User Acceptance Testing.
  • Using data, feedback and insights to inform product decisions.
  • Driving adoption and ensuring products continuously evolve to meet business needs.

Managing Suppliers & Partners

  • Building productive relationships with technology vendors and delivery partners.
  • Monitoring performance and holding suppliers accountable for delivery.
  • Supporting future technology investment and product decisions.

What We’re Looking For

We're looking for a commercially minded Product Owner who can combine strong stakeholder management skills with a passion for technology and continuous improvement.

You'll Have

  • Experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Senior Business Analyst or similar.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and delivery practices.
  • Experience managing product roadmaps, backlogs and prioritisation.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Experience working with third-party suppliers and technology partners.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience delivering technology-enabled business change.

It Would Be Advantageous If You Also Have

  • Experience with HRIS, Payroll, CRM, Marketing or Operational platforms.
  • Knowledge of customer journey technologies and digital service delivery.
  • Experience with Power BI and Microsoft 365 solutions.
  • Experience within multi-site, childcare, education or retail environments.
  • Understanding of systems integrations and digital transformation programmes.

  • Improving efficiency and user experience through effective technology solutions.
  • Maintaining secure, stable and reliable products that support business operations.
  • Building trusted partnerships with stakeholders, suppliers and delivery teams.
  • Collaborating with fellow Product Owners to deliver seamless, connected digital experiences.
  • Ensuring products contribute to Partou's wider digital transformation and growth ambitions.
